Has the Captain America & Thor Movie Footage Been Confirmed for the Iron Man 2 Blu-Ray?

A recently released Amazon.com sizzle reel has given major validity to the claim first reported here that other Marvel movies will be center stage for the film's home release.

It was expected that the special edition Blu-Ray edition of Iron Man 2 would be chock full of behind the scenes features. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been especially curious if any of these features would include the highly sought after Comic Con footage of next summer's Thor and Captain America movies. Several weeks ago, I released some insider information about this particular topic, and yesterday's Amazon.com sizzle reel, highlighting the film's home release, confirms the inclusion of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Data Vault and many "secrets" for forthcoming Marvel movies.

How much information about the Captain America, Thor and Avengers films can you spot in these images being included in the special feature?







The Iron Man 2 DVD & Blu-Ray is scheduled for US release September 28th, 2010.

I think this SHIELD vault looks pretty awesome. Should keep everyone tied over until Thor drops next year.

I don't have a Blu-Ray player, but anyone who does should post what they find when it releases. I'll give a dollar and a shiny nickel. : ) Looks like it will be filled with the nougaty center of justice!!!

Very interesting that Norton was conviently absent from the profile pics. He certainly would have been an individual of interest for SHIELD. Seems to me that his "separation" from the franchise was planned for awhile now. I mean, how fast can they put these DVD/Blu-ray special features together, and mass-produce them?

Yeah, the SHIELD vault does look awesome. I hope it won't be too hard to find Easter eggs.

I wish it could be new footage though, but I'd still love to get a digital copy in high resolution!

Im definetely buying Iron Man 2 on blu-ray...i planned to anyway but this just seals the deal for me to buy it on its release date

i'm with upup, anyone who gets this should do all us losers a huge favor and post any findings. with what ive seen, this just makes me want to see thor, cap, and the avengers even more. marvel is slowly converting this DCer into a marveler...

There's only one problem, here. I DON'T HAVE A BLU-RAY PLAYER!

@Lee: If you look past the fact that it was, practically, a promo for "The Avengers" then it WAS a really good movie. If they hadn't rushed so much of it and turned it into a total promo, then it would have been better. At least we got a good armor fight between Tony and Jim.
