Check out the video below to find out which characters will be featured in season two of the successful web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy, and this time around it's going to be more about the tournament and as Kevin Tancharoen says, there will be lots of fighting.


Below is a synopsis for the first season...
Written by Kevin Tancharoen, Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing, and available online this spring from Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, the "Mortal Kombat" digital new media series is an anthology of multiple live action shorts. Each episode will provide never-before-revealed insights into characters featured in the upcoming videogame as well as the game’s universe…Fans will be able to delve deep into the history of the warriors they know and love including "Sub-Zero" and "Scorpion.

OMG! I'm really 1st?!? Everyone must be at SDCC! xD

All I'ma say is that I hope its better than the 1st season which was rather lacking! Looks like they have a higher budget to work with this time.

I wasn't expecting another season. I thought that was done when they greenlit the movie. Are they still doing the movie? He's already said Legacy and the proposed film won't share continuity. Isn't it odd to have the same person making 2 separate Mortal Kombat projects?

It's still a go, i think it's gone come out 2013, directed by the same guy.

The Smoke from Mortal Kombat 2 is my favorite character and I hope he gets a good live action form at some point, but I loved Legacy and this sounds really good.

Hell yes can't wait. Im not excited for the movie at all Kevin Tancharoen done a great thing with Legacy and Reborn and now it's going in another direction for the big screen, I'm sorry but F that.

I see that Legacy 2 is missing two popular characters which is kabal and reptile. I hope they include these two characters at some point in the actual film for 2013.

The movie would be epic if they really give the story depth for each character and learn why the very first mortal kombat movie was decent not the best but decent for its time and why mortal kombat sequal was just horrible.

Also the first season of legacy was not bad but not really that good either. The very first mortal kombat pilot that kevin did which gave him this green lite to begin with was good. So I hope he brings back those elements that the legacy 1st season lacked compared to his original pilot.

DID WE SEE CYRAX/SMOKE/sektor!!!!???? you can tell hollywood is really testing the waters for a BIG budget MK film but they really want it to work and make money. he even admits people bitched and complained so are really trying to amp up this next season.
