Static shock cast

A fan cast from the SoulEater of who should play who if Static shock where made into a movie.

Now I'd been planning on making onf for some time, but BlackCat beat me to it, and let me tell you, its stellar, if you haven't leave this fan cast right now and look at his, its great. Anyway it got my comic casting juices going from that and am now presenting my cast, it varies in some areas, but other wise half of these were inspired By BlackCats.

For Static/virgil Hawkins, I chose Tahj Mowery, he's a good actor who some of you remember as playing smart Guy in his younger life. He's got a lot of talent an i think owning the role as static would help him be defined more in the acting world as a break

Gear-Richie Foley: virgils friend, i chose Michael Welch, good at playing the funny guy/good friend/nerd that comes through.

For his Father Robert Hawkins i chose (Like Cat) Tyler Perry, he has the presence maturity and wisdom i saw in Dr. Hawkins' character

For She-Bang, the super human experiment (DC's Super soldier) I choose Dana Davis from Heroes, she has the athletic ablity, and amazing acting.

For Rubberband man I chose Lee Thompson Young from smallville/Flashfoward/famous jett jackson

For Hotstreak, I choose Cameron Gignandet, he has the cocky personality and firey temper to play Virgils Highschool tormenter and present arch nemises.

For Ebon, I saw Brian White(From the Takers, I can Do bad all by myself) He has that forboding i think Ebon needs for the role.

For Madalyn Spalding, the pre madona school mate of Virgils who gains the ablity to manipulate peoples thoughts, and later on trades it for moving metal, I choose Tessa Thompson from Heroes.

For Kangor I choose Michael J. White, like Dana aside from great acting he has the physical capablities to be a super powered kick boxing bang baby.

And for Shiv, the zaney one of Ebons' Meta breed i choose McLovin ^_^

Christian Slater, he has the voice and the caniving down, they may have to age him, but seriously, their voices are identical...if you dont already know

You and BlackCat should be in charge of this movie!

Seriously great picks from both of you, this movie needs to be made!

Agreeing with Lee. Both are excellent fancast. This is a great example of why I like seeing other comics fan's castings choices.

For a older Static, maybe. But I think Tyler James Williams would be the best choice for For Static once he first starts off.

Thank you, what i want is a story that shoes a REAL parallel between it and real life.

The whole "in a city of kids, only a few make something of themselves instead of conforming to what their cercumstances try to dictate" (just ad super powers)

thesouleater- hes a great actor hes only been in comedy roles but if he gets role as a badguy he would do the badguy justice and he looks like hotstrek to look him up

Thank you Staticfan101, and yes, we both see the greatness at the idea of Tyler playing Virgils dad, it would be perfect for him.

Actualy i have to DISagree with you with the exception of Kyla as Sharon, that was brilliant and i'm mad at myself for not thinking of her as i was banging my head trying to think of her actress...and daisy's.
