VIDEO GAMES: INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US Catwoman Reveal Trailer

After recently starring in Batman: Arkham City and The Dark Knight Rises, Selina Kyle wants more action, and she'll get that by clawing her way into Injustice: Gods Among Us. Check out this action-packed trailer after the jump.

What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? From the indomitable DC Comics and the makers of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat comes Injustice: Gods Among Us, a bold fighting game featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale. A deep, original story compliments the fighting action that pits many of the great heroes and villains from the DC universe against each other -- Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others lose their allegiances and fight for Injustice!

I don't know about this game. The gameplay looks too similar to Mortal Kombat from 2011 and those costumes are horrid. Anyways, good stuff Alex!

^^Guys, don't complain about that. It's made by the same guys, but there won't be any Fatalities, no Babalities, there will be new modes, some modes will be removed, calm down. Looks cool!

IGN had an article up saying the fighting engine felt extremely dated. I don't have high hopes for this game either.

Also with all her terrible cat puns, not to mention that her voice sounds way too similar to Poison Ivy it's giving me an unintentional Batman and Robin vibe lol.

At :57 she is fighting Nightwing.....sweet!!

Really looks like Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe. Would have preferred a story based game like Arkham City. Imagine that with all these characters, frickin sweet!!!

@RidiculousFanBoy well ign wrote that article a year before this game even comes out and not to mention it was the first time the game had ever been shown. Ed Boon and and the guys at Netherealm Studios know what they are doing, they have been making fighting games for 2o years so I full faith in them. And didn't anybody play the last MK??? It was great! Now I just need see that Hal Jordan is in the game and I will be happy.

That is Grey DeLisle reprising her role as Catwoman from Arkham City. Now they need John DiMaggio as Darkseid in the game after that.

Why the hell does Catwoman use a bazooka in this? SMH. Anyways the game looks entertaining with all the stage effects and alternate levels. Very smart, however the actual character gameplay looks very slow, like Mortal Kombat. I hate that all the characters' moves seem like they always go to reset mode instead of looking fluid. If they made a game that used these graphics but with the speed and awesomeness of Marvel vs capcom 3... it would be the greatest fighting game ever.

The reason it looks like MK is because it was made by the same creative team as MK.

I really don't see what everyone is complaining about. On the outside, it does look similar to Mortal Kombat (2011), with the Motion-Capture moves looking close to Mortal Kombat's. However, if any of you would care to research it, the games control's are vastly dissimilar.
Three of the four face buttons are light attacks, medium attacks, and heavy attacks. The fourth face button is a special move button or 'gimmick' move button. To block, instead of R2 or a trigger button, it is simply the back arrow.
From those that have played demo builds claim that it actually plays far closer to the fighting game Blazblue.

Catwoman has the RPG is because if the background interactions you mentioned. Like in the Batcave when you can pick up grenades. Ed Boon even confirmed it on his twitter account.

Looks good, but feels like- Rise of the Imperfects- Marvel. Anyone else getting that vibe? And defiantly the last MK VS DC game- for sure.

Why are they messing with the costumes so much. And really I'm hating the semi 3d stuck in the 2d plane fighters that have been released lately. Two words. Marvel Nemesis. Remember that game? Were we stuck moving side to side? No. So why haven't games stuck to that type of formula instead of going with the extremely outdated Mortal Kombat feel?

@Nighmarewalking117 Slightly getting that feeling but just how they are shoehorning in the environmental parts of the game. I think if they would go into a 3d plane like Marvel Nemesis that this game would be a little better and completely throw away the costume designs for the characters they are pretty ugly.

And i don't care i like mortal kombat, and just about every fighting game looks like mortal kombat or street fighter. All i have to do is get a PS3.

Ummm, Catwoman looks like she will be a fun character to play as... I'm not really feeling her voice and costume though.

That doesn't sound like Selina Kyle to me. She always has a more sultry voice.

@LEVITIKUZ Dude... Static would be a great character to bring in! He could do so many moves with his hover disc.

I think the armored outfits look pretty bad ass actually. Netherealms is good at making alternate outfits for characters.

The game looks great. It looks like MK (cause it is made on the same engine dull) but it is played so differently than MK. From watching the videos of Cyborg and Night-wing, the characters have vastly different move sets than any MK character. I will enjoy this game

ok i dont like the catwoman design that much but i think this game would be fun to play for a couple of weeks but i cant see myself buying it, i havent bought mortal combat since the early 90's

Suits look awful. And I hate this mortal kombat treatment to dc. What kind of freak wants to see superman do a fatality on batman? And I know in MK vs DC the heroes never actualy got fatality-ized, or how ever you wanna call it- but whatever, I recogize a fatality when I see one. And its creepy as hell.

Nice to see that Catwoman made it to Injustice. I might buy this game if it gets positive feedback. I think Catwoman looks pretty good in there. The high heels with claws are a little too much, but the rest of the suit looks great. It's definitely better than Nolan's Catwoman suit.
