The announcement of a First-Person game based upon AMC's The Walking Dead T.V show didn't have the best fan reaction, but the producer of the game reassures G4TV that it's main focus is survival. While speaking a little bit about the Artificial Intelligence of the walkers in the game, they explain that even though these creatures have no minds, they still use a mechanic that allows the walkers to track you with scent, noise and sight. All these mechanics sound promising, so let's hope that this game is able to deliver.

Shit game. Telltale is much better at doing Walking Dead justice, even Kirkman agreed. This is just gonna be another shoot em up FPS game from activision thats gonna poison the game industry.

Stick to what you're not good at Activision: CallOfDuty

@FightAs0ne I agree, I just tried to first two episodes of the Telltale Walking Dead games and they are pretty damn good.

"even Kirkman agreed"
Erm. Kirkman didn't say a word about TellTale's, nor did he compare the two. He simply said MONTHS AGO that he didn't think a TWD FPS could work. He has actually said recently that the game Activision is working on isn't really in his control and it's more an AMC project, but it's looking alright.

I love how you call it shit before even seeing any gameplay. It does have POTENTIAL to be shit, but how about you reserve judgement until you see actual proof?

This game would have been a million times better if it was a RPG.
FightAs0ne - 8/27/2012, 9:53 AM
Erm and that's where you are wrong he did state something about Telltale

"Like everybody who's played it I'm fairly impressed by what they've been able to do."

"Being able to take a more storytelling approach to it and make it an interactive experience that tells a more in-depth story than the average action game is something that's much more in line with what The Walking Dead is about, and also brings a very unique gameplay experience...I'm really quite taken with it."

And I can judge it as shit because we are all critics deep on the inside. Just like you can call a game or CBM shit before it comes out, I do the same. Its all about judgement and I think that Activision has horrible judgement in games. Walking Dead is about emotional human drama and, I don't see how Acti can capture in a FPS, seeing as they haven't done it since COD 4 Modern Warfare.

i would like a Dead Island type TWD game just more focused on guns and not rediculous melee weapons made out of duct tape and bandaides.
