First Look At Byron Mann On The CW's ARROW

The CW has released these new images of episode 5 -- "Damaged" -- which reveal the first look at the hooded figure on the island on last week's (alongside Deathstroke and Oliver) Arrow, played by Byron Mann...

The CW has sent out these promotional images from episode 5 of Arrow, titled "Damaged". The picture descriptions reveal that Byron Mann will play Yao Fei, who appeared at the end of last week's episode and struck Oliver in the torso with an arrow. However, we do not yet know his connection to the island or Deathstroke. Stay tuned to The CW's Arrow next week to get your first look at Yao Fei. [Frick]ing A, man. Deathstroke looks awesome as hell. CW have learned their lesson from Smallville's Deathstroke and have given us the Deathstroke we've been waiting for. Can't wait for this to go down. :D

Sure he's wearing a more black ops styled suit and no chain-mail body armor or orange flare boots or orange gloves but [frick] they did A LOT better with Deathstroke than what i expected!!!! IT'S AMAZING!

Deathstroke looks CHEAP in these pics? Dude seriously get your eyes checked. They clearly put a ton of effort into Deathstroke's look in the show.

The reason I don't like the mask is because it's obviously formed to look like you can see his facial expressions. Sort of like Snake Eyes from GI Joe, which I hated that mask/suit as well.

I like Deathstroke's suit but I wish the mask wasn't so fake and cosplay looking.

I wonder why on the right side of Deathstroke's mask (his left) it looks yellow, but on the promo trailer for Arrow, it was orange. Maybe it's the lighting in that pic, I guess? Still, looks bad@$$ nonetheless. Also, in the Green Arrow comics, when Oliver was stranded on the island, was he just by himself and taught himself how to survive, or was their a man to teach him how to survive? Just curious. :)

Of course, he looks comic-accurate, I'm not saying he doesn't. But, the suit itself looks so cheap.

@LP4 - Don't need to worry about it, dude. Not everyone will like it or enjoy it as many other do. It looks pretty sweet, IMO, but if other people says differently, then that's just their opinion about 'im. If @NerdyGeek says he looks like a cheap Halloween costume, then that's just his opinion. As long as you enjoy it, then that is cool. :)

The worst thing in the images is Amell's fake hair covering his own hair.
I've seen better jobs of applying a costume wig on Saturday Night Live. Couldnt they see how stupid he looks?
He looks deformed. Like freaking Frankenstein.

It doesn't say say in the article, but Yao Fei is a comic book character who is part of The Great Ten. He's known as Accomplished Perfect Physician.

@DGTZ- Before most news articles mentioned where the reference came from for the arrow through Deathstroke's mask. I was the one who realized it and told your brother which story i thought it came from and guess what- I WAS RIGHT.

Lucky guess doesn't mean a thing. Ask your brother about the Identity Crisis thing with me. He should remember.

And I concur with what @wearethewalkingdead said. We'll eventually see Deathstroke again in either another episode in Season 1 or probably in another season (seeing as how he still has his right eye intact). Hopefully they'll get him more involved in the series and have a bigger role.

I think he looks cool and I am interested in seeing if they do attribute the loss of his eye to Oliver. Did anyone notice that the fight pic has holes in the mask for breathing while the others didn't. Is this his special fighting mask? HA HA

dont get me wrong i way prefer dc to marvel but i reall hope that they do take one leaf from the MCU and start to evolve suits as the series progress

Dude for a Tv show Deathstroke look awesome. You have to realize this is not a $100 million dollar movie this is television so the studio is not going to spend thousands of dollars on his suit. For what its worth its actually looks better than the snake-eyes suit in the G.I. Joe film(Im pretty sure they spent a good penny on that)so to me they are doing a great job with it.

Huh, I thought the hood guy would end up being Natas, the guy who trained Deathstroke and Green Arrow. Kind of a master vs apprentice style war, with Oliver caught in the crossfire. Anyways, real excited by this, not only does Deathstroke look badass, but makes me think they may actually pull off The Huntress as well (I want my pointy ear cowl!)
