I don't understand when you say it's a Steve Rogers story. Steve=Cap'n America. They're essentially the same people. Steve Rogers has always been (even though not called) captain America.

@MrCBM: Everyone complains there is more Steve Rogers than Captain America in the sense they want to see him more in the suit. It's more of a Steve Rogers story cause we spend time with him as a character and get to know him personally. It's the substance not the flash, that's why it's more of a Steve Rogers story.

So Cap 2 is going to be the thread between the Phase 2 films I think. And Iron Man 3 will be seen more of a "on its own" I think. IM3 did nothing to connect us back to the real story an closed itself off from the awesome world Avengers gave us. Thats where i think it Failed. CAP2 is looking amazing. Lets jut hope the writing is good.
