Chronicle knocked out The Woman in Black over the Super Bowl weekend to take the top spot and exceeded industry expectations. With all the success, a sequel is of coursed going to be talked about. The films three stars Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell and Michael B. Jordan spoke on the potential for a sequel, while hedging their bets they did leave the door open.
I just hope people like the movie and leave the movie wanting more. Hopefully if we leave people wanting more then we can think about what comes next.
Russell doesn't want anyone to get their hopes too high
I think there's potential for it to go in many different directions after the lights go down on 'Chronicle,' it obviously holds up as its own story and it's probably good if people are left wondering what's going to happen next, but it could go in any direction and I don't think anyone is thinking of a sequel.
Jordan agreed on the consensus of questions left unanswered, but he said when interpreting the ending that it was "all about perspective."
So what do you think? Have you seen it? Think they should leave it be? Sequel or no sequel? Sound off below!
