The two-hour event on Spike TV, Scream Awards 2009, will premiere on October 27th at 10PM Eastern/Pacific. The show honors all things sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic book related. The first show took place on October 10, 2006.

Whispers68: "Twilight" actor won an award for best actor in fantasy TV show or movie over Brad Pitt in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and Hugh Jackman from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine...interesting. That was definitely a snub for me. How did he even win this over Daniel Radcliffe, I can't understand. As for TV show or horror movie best actor, I prefer Michael C. Hall from "Dexter" as opposed to Stephen from "True Blood." Can anyone explain to me how Megan Fox acted in "Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen?" How did she win best actress in a sci-fi movie? I was expecting Lena Headey. I'm definitely not watching this show.
