The Batwing looks like those hovercrafts from the Terminator series

ugh.

PartyHard - 10/7/2011, 5:08 PM
I'm actually pretty excited that they're using wackier Batvehicles. The only thing that looks like shit so far is Catwoman. Everything else looks great to me.
revloveR - 10/7/2011, 5:08 PM
rock lobster.

I can't wait when they start reporting more stuff about Bane.

Suck my nuck. (J/k)

I kinda like the Bat-Lobsta.
GUNSMITH - 10/7/2011, 6:11 PM
WE ALL ASSUME ITS ACTUALLY CALLED THE BATWING OR IS IT LOGICAL TO CALL IT THAT SINCE THE ONLY FLYING VEHICLE BEFORE IN THE MOVIES WAS THE BATWING SO WE AUTOMATICALLY EXPECT NOLAN WILL DUBB IT THAT TOO?

WellDrawn - 10/7/2011, 6:19 PM
Still, someone remind me why we're still referring to something without wings as The Batwing?

It makes perfect sense that Batman would want something narrow enough to fly down the average street, hopefully there will be some sort of fold-out wings, for when he goes up high, and needs speed over compactness.
dickmastaflex - 10/7/2011, 6:27 PM
With all due respect, its a pretty shitty looking batwing!
maxer - 10/7/2011, 6:30 PM
this is not the final Batwing i hope.. looks like they're still building it.. but why in the open?..
matrix10st - 10/7/2011, 6:41 PM
It looks like jetifires back in revenge of the fallen
Godzillafart - 10/7/2011, 7:02 PM
I find it strange that EVERY fan made Batman film has better casting for Batman than EVERY Hollywood Batman film.
Godzillafart - 10/7/2011, 7:03 PM
I mean, it's self evident that Bale sucks as Batman, but why has he NEVER been cast well? Thoughts, fellow geeks?
PartyHard - 10/7/2011, 7:08 PM
What's wrong with Bale's Batman? And don't say the voice. He's not in charge of the voice.
Batman5 - 10/7/2011, 8:04 PM
ppl bashing this are idiots. the final product that you will see in the film will look wayyy different. Its going to be awesome, just like the movie is going to be the greatest CBM of all time, and if so then it will quite possibly be one of the best films of all time.
larzjarrod1 - 10/7/2011, 8:11 PM
i trust in nolan this the guy that made inception one of my favorite movies memento another, following another. U gotta be crazy if u think he's gonna mess this up.
DCnerd46 - 10/7/2011, 8:38 PM
I'm a huge Batman fan but not much of a Nolan fan. This looks . . . meh. It's okay I guess.
Godzillafart - 10/7/2011, 8:51 PM
Gotta say, just from the perspective of a film maker: I'm going to choose two flawed movies. Anyone who thinks Batman Begins is a better movie than Iron Man 2 is a [frick]ing idiot.

AND the first Iron Man is so much better than BB that a conversation about does not even need to happen.
PartyHard - 10/7/2011, 8:58 PM
I think Batman Begins is far better than Iron Man 2 in pretty much every way.
NeoBaggins - 10/7/2011, 8:59 PM
Godzillafart, you're a film maker?
santoanderson - 10/7/2011, 9:07 PM
My niece made a movie of her dog taking a dump in her toilet. We can all be film makers.
jf11mm - 10/7/2011, 9:19 PM
Hey i said before I'll say it again on these boards in Nolan i trust. It will all work out in the end this bat wing look weird cause its being put together wait til you see it on the screen we will probably love it.In Nolan i trust.@Godzillafart what make you say bale suck as batman just curious you don't give a reason just your opinion which is fine. I don't think he should have been casted. He is Chris nolan's vision of the batman, just as Micheal Keaton was Tim burton's vision of it.
Godzillafart - 10/7/2011, 9:32 PM
Well...Batman Begins starts with a terrible choice to play batman, but, on top of that, the final act of BB is embarrassingly bad, boring, etc. And, I have to say, the end of IM had problems too, but the reality is that the flawed IM was better than than BB to the point that the very flawed IM2 was better than BB.
Godzillafart - 10/7/2011, 9:34 PM
@Partyhard: Just to be petty...you are wrong.
PartyHard - 10/7/2011, 9:41 PM
Is that seriously your argument? You barely made any type of point at all. You just wrote a vague opinion. I like both Iron Man and Batman Begins. I want all comic book movies to do well. I want both Marvel and DC to do well. Honestly, I can barely even even see what the difference between the two companies actually is.
WesleyGibson - 10/7/2011, 9:43 PM
Quickly! To the Bat-Lobster!

Wonder what Nolan has in store for whatever the hell this is...
jbak368 - 10/7/2011, 9:50 PM
It may be worthwhile for you young'ins to know that there was a time when Bale was the fan favorite for the part - in fact that's largely considered part of why he was cast. In fact you could buy shirts with a bat logo that said "Bale, Dammit" on them.
jbak368 - 10/7/2011, 9:52 PM
If I wasn't drunk I wouldn't have said "in fact" twice.
PartyHard - 10/7/2011, 10:01 PM
Yeah. Nobody has every been able to actually answer that question. Probably because Marvel and DC are the basically the same thing. Seriously. I don't get the insults. It's only beneficial to everyone that they both do well.
vermillion - 10/7/2011, 10:39 PM
I'm gonna bet it looks amazing in the film.
NeoBaggins - 10/7/2011, 10:49 PM
"I find it strange that EVERY fan made Batman film has better casting for Batman than EVERY Hollywood Batman film."

I have to disagree. Fan films in general are awful and have the worst acting EVER. The Batman fan films I've seen are amusing on some level but ultimately hard to sit through to the end. I just watched one recently with this really stiff and terrible Robin, a bloated Batman and a Joker that looked like the JigSaw doll after getting hit with a cake.

If there's Batman fan films with better casting than the hollywood films, please, direct me to them. As it stands, the only film they have a chance of contesting is Batman and Robin.

At this point, I think this website should be called "underthebridge.com" If you don't understand the reference, pick up a book for a change.

''Jetfire,is that you?''
Ichaos - 10/8/2011, 5:42 AM
Question, shouldnt something called a BatWING have wings? There is nothing on that thing that could serve as a wing
Ichaos - 10/8/2011, 5:43 AM
Hoping that thing is only used for closeups and there is some proper CG version later
Steping - 10/8/2011, 10:54 AM
The Best movie Hero EVER
sKeemAn - 10/8/2011, 10:59 AM
that thing looks like trash metal. I hope it looks better when the movie comes out.
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 10/8/2011, 6:13 PM
Wow.... It's even worse than I thought lol!!! Maybe it will look better in the movie.
Godzillafart - 10/8/2011, 7:28 PM
@PartyHard: This isn't a DC/Marvel thing for me...I think Reeve is one of the best castings in CBM history, right up there with Downey. Bale is just pathetic. He doesn't seem smart, tough or charming. All of which I think of as BM traits.
WesleyGibson - 10/9/2011, 12:28 AM
Just have to see how it does.
