Offical Images From THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Revealed!

Following the trailer reveal, Warner Bros. Pictures has released some new official photos from Christopher Nolan-directed film The Dark Knight Rises. Featuring Batman and Bane, hit the jump to check it out...

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster “The Dark Knight.” The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

Cool pics!! - what i can;t get is we know it's set 8 years later and Batman gets kiss ass kicked by Bane, but why doesn't he have a mark 3 bane proof costume for the final fight?!!

Stranger: That looks to be a gun designed specifically for the film by Rob Liefeld. If I'm not mistaken, I also read somewhere that Rob designed some itsy bitsy gloves and boots for both Batman AND Bane. ;D

@supes17 - so he has time to create a batwing, get beat by bane, but make no changes to the suit?! - I thought he would start with this suit and have something more protective for the final show down!!

His skin looks like that because they had to cover Tom Hardy's tats up. He's got two huge tattoos on each arm and Nolan obviously didn't want Bane all tatted up. They'll probably explain his skin like that as part of his condition to why he wears the mask

They're burns, the scars extend to the back of his neck. There also seems to be a tube running down his spine under the skin

@Supes17 @MovieMann, you guys are correct they are burns. I just figured texturing like that also had to do with covering up his tats, obviously story comes first and his tats can be covered without seeing a texture. Good look to both of you

Has anyone noticed the two red pull cords on banes vest? He appears to be holding them in the last picture? Could they be pull cords which once pulled release a chemical into his blood stream making him stronger and bigger??? Is there gonna be a surprise super-bane at the end of the movie??? I have a feeling something is being kept secret....

Whats with no Catwoman?!? Shes in the trailer only as Selina!!! Only one picture of her an im guessing they only released it cause they were gonna film on the streets and they know people would take pictures.

When do we get the first version of these pictures in black and white? Or the first version of these pictures in slightly higher res? Where's the article with these same exact freaking pictures tinted red? Would that be on the second page? Who really posted this first and how long before they whine and complain about being pushed to the second page or having their article deleted?

Wake me when there's a new shot, please.... or at least when we get another 5 articles about why the R was a different font. I never get tired of reading 1 more fact about the same frakking story.

I can't pass judgement anymore on this movie until I see it. It's pretty much in the bag so its not worth complaining about now.

Ask yourself this though, did you like the Joel Schumacher Bane (including story) more than Nolan's Bane? Chances are this is a better rendition. Yeah, I like the Bane from the Arkham video games but that does not fit this Bat-universe.

Look at the little baby bane. He's so small. I bet he's way under 6'. This has to be with out any Venom in him. They just have been doing good at keeping that under wraps, right? He looks like crap!!
