At this point all you have to do is say "directed by Christopher Nolan" , or "from the director that brought you The Dark Knight" and the movie will make money. That's one reason why so many people went to go see Inception.

Every one should know by now that Nolan doesn't give a shit about fanboys.

The team that made TDKR has nothing to gain from attending and fanboys aren't entitled to anything.

At least market it properly! They're relying on fan buzz and leaked set pictures and videos. The trailer barely revealed anything, Bane's voice has been getting loads of criticism. I just want the studio to TRY to market this movie.

Why would it need the extra promotion? It has already been built up by its predecessor and what we've seen from it so far.

Nolan isn't disrespectful but I'm pretty sure he looks at Comic-Con as a trivial thing and a loss of time. Instead, he could spend that time ****ing his wife!

I dont blame Nolan for not attending, his movie will be out just days before "Comic-Con" and he doesnt need promoting, the film has enough to back it up.

The only losers here are the people getting upset, because a director is not attending an event filled with cry babies and people who stab others in the eye over comic books. Yeah remember that pretty little number? I sure do and it’s pretty damn embarrassing if you ask me.

The Dark Knight Rises is already overhyped and expectations are high as ever, I think it’s nice that finally they are letting the momentum for this movie slow down a bit. Bane’s voice and Anna Hathaway as Catwoman and not mention Bales Batman voice have all gotten criticism enough already.

Also stop using that stupid term Nolanlite, it’s childish and just makes you look like a bigger crybaby than you already are. God I swear this site has some of the most spoiled and moronic people I’ve ever come across.

Does it really matter if Nolan was going to be there or not? Or if the film was being screened or not? Not really. Would've been cool, but there's no need to get upset because it's not happening. We're all going to see the film anyway.

Yeah its right around the corner, and before we know it, well all be in line at 1159 anxiously waiting for that 1201 so we can get both The Man Of Steel trailer (hopefully) and TDKR in full!

I dont think hes very supportive for Inception 2 idea. I think he might just go back to his originality style for a bit. Hell still have Man of steel to help with and Im sure hes rooting for a 2014 feature release for something.

People are actually surprised at this? You will see George Carlin and Isaac Hayes at a damn Comic Con before you ever see Chris Nolan there.

@CPBuff22: I'm looking for that article from a few years ago that was talking about the Comic Con movie phenomena. Even stuff that was basically par for the course in regards to comics were getting NUKED by fan reactions.

Movies got the worse of the treatment; only a few didn't have people jeer or just straight skip their presentations. Movie studios of damn near every kind has been avoiding Comic Con like the plague since then. It's the true trial by fire for geek material.

I got nothing bad to say about Whedon and his entourage of clowns. I got my opinion just like everyone else around here does. Its only those who get butthurt about it that complain. :) I have no doubt in mind both movies will be great, but TDKR will be better. Just accept the fact like everyone else does.

Person of Interest is well written antonio. Johnathan also has alot going for him, imagine a world where both brothers The NOLAN's dominate Hollywood...thatd be the day. Person of Interest's plot is also wicked, I saw the pilot and it made me think of the same schemes The prestige and Inception used. Mind twisting and creative.

@Nolanite well, TASM kind of is. In my opinion, more than DKR. Probably because the viral marketing team behind that movie IS THE SAME as the company that did the epic viral for Dark Knight.

In most articles I've seen you post in, you constantly say how much you think Nolan rules and Whedon sucks like it's a fact. Seriously, you call Avengers a "clown show". It's okay to like one film over another, but if you constantly post comments insulting it, that just comes off as trolling.
