New THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Poster Debuts

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

My issue with most of these posters is that they're very unimaginative. All they're doing is saying "Hey look! It's Spider-man!" And the response is "soo...?" They don't suggest anything about the story and what makes this different. They should go more lizard centric, maybe have one in the sewer. Also, playing up the Peter Parker angle might be better.

Aww come on guys!!! This poster is way cooler than Raimi's cause it has cool looking blue/grey TDK/TDKR broken glass in it!!! You can't get any cooler then that, in this day and age :))

LAME [frick]ING POSTER. You'd think that the way Avi Arad & Sony promoted this film as a "BATMAN BEGINS" version of Spidey that we wouldn't see repetitive promo art. the Poster is the exact same pose in the exact same setting as the Spider-man 2 Poster WTF

Only damn difference is the suit & the setting is blue instead of tan. I'm really trying to like this movie but some of this stuff isnt selling me the action/dialogue/story BETTER BE GOOD cuz as of right now all i see is a skinny scrawny version of Peter Parker w/ a funky ass suit & webshooters that blink, & the exact same poster art as its past films

Sick poster. This movie will be good just like how X men first class turned out awesome and imo best cbm last summer. With.that said avengers and tdkr will own this summer
