New THE DARK KNIGHT RISES TV Spot Released

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster “The Dark Knight.” The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.



Starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and Morgan Freeman, The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit theatres on July 20, 2012.

It is amazing how you really can't plead everyone, people complain not seen much of the movie, now they don't get new footage they complain.

It is same with Spider-man and was same for Avengers, finding that balance is so tricky. For those how don't want more footage, don't click these articles, for those who want more, well I guess watch the movie.

Nope. Not shown yet. Most likely near the end of the show. 30-40 more minutes, I believe. I'm not watching it, a couple forums are staying on top of it and it nothing yet.

@Superbat Agreed, that was my first thought, people are complaining not getting enough now. Of course some TV spots will show the same as a lot of people will not see every single one.

At the people complaining about this tv spot. Who gives a shit if its similar. They cant ALL be completely different. Just look at the tv spots for Avengers. Were those all different? No most of em showed the same exact things every time.

There are very tiny bits we haven't seen, such as the exterior of the Wayne Mansion.... 0_0

I'm wondering why every Batman movie made under Chris Nolan has to have some bit about Bruce's car at the end of the tv spots.

Did you even see Avengers? I'm just asking because making a comment like this makes it seem like you haven't -- the trailers barely scratched the surface of what was in the actual movie.

Glad there's no new footage - I have seen enough to get completely excited but still have little idea what is going to transpire in this film...and I know this film has some big surprises in store as Nolan is not someone who gives away the whole plot in his trailers. Happy to sit back and ride out the next 7 weeks without seeing any new footage.

Because they dont wanna give to much out. I can watch the whole avengers movie piece by piece by putting the 20 trailer they had. It still has 2 months till the movie comes out. Chill out and prepare for a real comic movie.

looks even more epic than what i've been imagining. jets over gotham at the very end? or am i seeing things. whatever happens there is going to be epic.

this isn't some made up, costume-y kids movie, with alien invaders and autobots, this is real noir -- with jets?!? this is going to be sick.
