RESULTS: What Did You Think Of The First Trailer For Marvel Studios' IRON MAN 3?

The general consensus for the Iron Man 3 trailer is very positive, and that's no different here on CBM. With over 5480 votes, hit the jump to check out the results of what did you all think of the teaser trailer for the Shane Black-directed film.

As I'm writing this, the first trailer for Shane Black & Marvel Studios' Iron Man 3 has close to 34.8 million views (from just one upload) on You Tube in just 5 days. That is pretty amazing. It's safe to say that this teaser generated an even bigger excitment for "Phase Two" of Marvel Cinematic Universe. A couple of days ago, we asked what did you think of the trailer, and with over 5480 votes, here are the results:




Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black. The film is set for May 3, 2013 release.
Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

It was really cool to hear Kingsley's Mandarin speak... he's such a talented actor; I think he's going to redefine the character.

It was pretty good. Still waiting on Man of Steel Trailer. Iron Man is already out hyping it.

@Froggy Ya I think the Supes trailer will be good, but they've been too quiet IMO. After seeing some fuzzy clips of the SDCC footage they should have had something out by now. Iron Man beat em to the punch a bit here.

@Froggy But MOS was pushed back and if I recall correctly started production before IM3. Plus they pretty much have a trailer with the CC footage. They could have easily released a little more than they have.

Man, don't start this DC vs Marvel stuff.
I saw the MOS trailer, as the new IM3 one, and they're both fricking awesome!! I couldn't be more stoked to see 2013 come.

I luv it SOOOOOOOO mch more excited for this trailer than the avengers trailer and I luv the avengers but i find this better

Judging by first trailers, Iron Man 3 owns Man of Steel. I know both films will be really good, but I think Iron Man 3 will be better.

But you know the funny thing is that the man of steel is taking a darker tone to and they only gave us a 3 seconds of superman but you can barely see his suit and your more excited about that than ironman 3 and they messed up superman twice in tv and in a movie so say something that can prove me wrong

The MARVEL UK Iron Man 3 trailer has 34 million views and thats more than what The Avengers has now in total.I will say this now,all the Phase 2 movies are going to make big bank at the box office.

It's sooo great. Phase 2 is looking much darker and tragic than Phase 1. Can't wait! Marvel seems to be making all the right moves!

It was ok. Nothing that got me excited. Still concerned about the interpretation of Mandarin. Reserving judgement until more footage is shown.

Thor 2 and Man of Steel are my most anticipated but I'm beyond excited to see the other cbms as well :P 2013 is gonna be awesome!!!!!

@TrueRedBlue - yeah man, I want things to get f ugly in each of these movies. And the whole shit to be really desperate in Avengers 2. I want that feeling that Thanos is the peak of each heroe's troubles.

The first 2 already covered Armor Wars (somewhat), Stane, some Iron Age, and the drinking.

It would be nice if the third one incorporates the X-Men's Apocalypse with Mandarin's rings, to connect with the Days movie, and introduced Dr. Doom to connect with the new FF movies, with some Doomquest in it. Both aren't gonna happen, but it would be nice. Also incorporate some Best Defense in there by having Tony get promoted to Secretary of Defense.

But Ten Rings, Extremis, and Beginning of the End all look like they're gonna happen from what I see on the trailer, so that's all enough.

LMAO stop being so defensive. Just because I said it wan't "perfect" doesn't mean I said it sucked. Tired of the same old thing? That is what makes it an Iron Man movie. That is like saying TDKR should have had a lighter tone because it is "the same thing".

They also messed up Iron Man in Iron Man 2.
