James Mulholland of the News of the World reports, the film crew for the new Batman film are seeking approval from local authorities to land a huge military plane, Hercules, on a road in Scotland, the A9. The Stunt is so epic in scope that it is believed that the crew will need at least 3 days to pull off the performance.

A source revealed: "The movie crew desperately want to film this.

"It's a key section of the film. Batman is on board a plane that is hurtling to the ground.
The script says he takes control of it and lands it on the road while it's on fire.

"People are going to love it. It's a tremendous challenge."

i dont know why, but i dont think this sounds too good. Everything that Im hearing just sounds like recycled movie material.

From what i hear he's injured by bane and has to "rise" and rehabilitate to meet the challenge. (recycle eye of the tiger). now a flaming plane is going down in an area not meant for landing a plane, which has been done a LOT before (con-air).

Now dont say im hating, Im hoping for the best and LOVED the first two. I just dont think recycled plot points like those are the way to top the Dark Knight.

I don't believe this at all. The source can't be trusted.

Plus how do they know what's in the script.

@grimekid-A stunt like this is not going to be a secret. Especially if the general public's safety is at risk.

It's the only way the Welsh (Bale) can enter Scotland at the moment. No doubt he'll be frisked down at immigration, given a small council house, a Thai bride, a low level of employment that a Pole has refused.... you get the picture. Seriously though, I have to stop reading these pages or all of Nolan's hard work will be undone.

if this is true, it will all be to show that Batman can pilot an aircraft, and possibilities of the Batman stealth, may surface again!!

Look at TDK where nolan stated he inserted the Bruce motorbike scene to explain how he could use the Batpod!!

Easy peasy!! Land that aircraft in Falkirk high street! Go on and bring it in and fly it down Scotland's longest stretch if you can!! How about Buchanan Street or maybe even on the M77 motorway!! That's if Glasgow can actually get their roads in order or actually have a decent system going!!
