Nice. This is what they need to do for the next Superman movie. Make a CG Reeve and just use technology to recreate his voice and get a powerful skrypt and wamo! You have a shot at a good Superman movie because really no one can inspire like this dude.

I actually cried. Like Cade says...no one can inspire like Christopher Reeve...even after his accident and in the wheelchair, he was STILL Superman. The man is a gentleman and a god. It would take somebody TRULY talented and charismatic to fill his boots.

I just shed a tear... that was beautiful. An true, Reeves will never be surpassed in the way he did superman. But there are other ways to superman, so I'm still positive that they will not blow it up with the reboot like they did with Superman Returns.

Christopher Reeves... love him to death, GREAT actor! and unforgetable in this role, but he was built like a woman and had the voice of an 10th grader. lol if they tried to cast some like him today to play superman, Yall would have a freaking fit. =P

I posted this earlier in the other thread about the exact same thing...so anyway here we go.


This is cool, the idea of tributing Chris is the coolest part. I think we're in store for a resurgance of The Man of Steel, and frankly I couldn't be more pleased about it. I won't clutter up a respectful thread like this with all sorts of CBM talk, but what I will say is that Reeve was a champion who did his best work from from the heart up. If you haven't seen them, there's a series of video interveiws his son put together shortly before he died called "11 questions for Christopher Reeve", they're stunning, powerful, and inspiring. @Layperson- I agree Reeve was a Champion. He will forever be in my heart as the Superman of all Supermen. I was in Awe when I saw him in Superman the movie in 78. I was 5 years old. My mom said that I walked of the theater speechless and like a mini-zombie. LOL.... R.I.P Chris.

Christopher Reeve was and always will be SO iconic in this suit that sometimes I think if someday another actor would fit well inside it...

We need a NEW Superman with a NEW suit not because the classic suit is outdated but just because neither actor can represent Truth, Justice and "all that stuff" so good like Chris Reeve did.
