Joss Whedon Likens Angelina Jolie To Wonder Woman!

i think jolie is so obvious a choice for wonder woman we all kind of fail to recognize it.

i mean, she is one of the strongest women in the world. not the us, the world.

she can do it all, shes gorgeous, tough, and can handle actions movies

i think if they did anything with wonder woman in a movie, jolie is the perfect choice.

taylor cole or erin cummings,angelina jolie wouldn't be a bad choice but not my first choice.

I like Angelina, but not for WW. She would def make a great Catwoman though

I don't think Whedon was necessarily saying that she would've played Wonder Woman, just that her own real-life persona had many similarities with the character, which could've been one of the ways Whedon adapted the character so it didn't appear dated.

While I don't think she's a terrible choice, Jolie has certainly played this type of character before.

My personal choice would be Alexa Davalos, and she also happens to speak fluent Greek.

Wonder Woman? A great maybe. She does have That Wonder Woman character about her.

Because Angelina is getting older I see her more as Hippolyta in a movie. Hippolyta is Wonder Woman's mother in the comics if some of you don't know.

I see her as Wonder WOMAN...she is not to old by any means....this character is an adult female who has youthful childlike qualities due to her experiances in an enclosed 'safe' society with limited knowledge of an outside world....

it is not wonder girl, this is not a role for a younger actress or indeed one without any commitment or gravitas....

Jolie is ok. I agree with Elayis though, I'm don't think he meant he would have cast Jolie as WW, I think he meant he would base her on Jolie.
I have to say overall I was really disappointed they didn't make this movie. I thought at first this would be a great match, with Whedon knowing what to do with strong women. However it seemed like Whedon was taking forever to get past the scripting stage.

Angelina Jolie would've been perfect, even now, but with more delays after delays, by the time they decide to make a decent movie, Jolie would be probably 50 !
Warner is missing big time with W W character ...

@ kiddsoul - let's save the Hyppolyta role for Linda Carter!!!! Angie would definitely own the role no question- even though we wouldn't really wanna see another "Salt" - (if we wanna see men get pounced on the whole pic thru -we can watch "for colored girls" - from what i've heard - lol ) - Lucy Lawless came out of nowhere and took over a franchise- lets go for someone fresh - rather that than Ms. Fox

She's still incredibly hot but I agree she's too thin for Wonder Woman now.

I know she's not that big either but when I think of WW I totally picture Serinda Swan.

She's too skinny to play WW? really? Thats like saying, that girls got short hair she could never play WW. it's called "Working out with a trainer".

Angelina would be awesome. WW needs to look and be able to be a bad ass, also have a maturity to her.

She wouldn't be my first second or third choice but she seems to be an easy and perfect choice. She has the charisma that makes her male costars act better lol. Plus she is beautiful. she can put on about 20 lbs and she would be perfect for the role. Plus her beauty is the type of beauty that screams at you. She doesn't need to be half nude to get your attention.

@ Anil: Rhona is one of my Polygamist famous wives. She 34 though so shes only a Year younger then Jolie. Also Rhona is my dream Elektra

Kate is the mistress to my many wives and she is 2 years older then Jolie at 37. She is imo a great choice for Lois Lane.

Davalos is 28 and is the age that I would look for but I don't believe she has the same stunning beauty that the others you mentioned have. Also an option for Elektra but I still don't feel she has that level of beauty.

Jessica Biel would be great as well and is the same age as Davalos. I believe she falls right in the range of Angelina, Kate, and Rhona.

I would also have sex with there mouths...... I would let them have sex with my mouth....Of course only if my Wife permits.....

P.S. All great choices including Angelina and even at there age.

@ Ranger: Fair enough on the uknown but she was 125 for Tomb Raider which is the weight she should carry while she was recently said to weigh slightly over a 100 somewhere.
