After going through the recent articles regarding the upcoming new Daredevil movie from Fox, I have compiled what I think are the most popular choices for who you guys would most like to see portray the Man Without Fear. Also included are the few actors that have most recently been linked to the role (along with a couple of others from the past) but if there's anyone missing you'd like to see added to the poll, mention them below and I'll include them ASAP. Be sure to check back in a few days for the results!

Although you've missed off a lot of great other fan favourites such as Matt Damon, Jamie Bamber, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett,Misha Collins, James Marsde and Wentworth Miller, still a great poll. Gotta be C Hall, Hedlund or Pine and my personal fave pick, Josh Hartnett or this movie gonna fail unless do a "Keaton" and pick someone you wouldn't expect and turns out to be epic.

I take it you don't watch Dexter? Hall is excellent at playing a dark character. He could easily exude the intelligence required to play a lawyer, and he looks spot on man!

Anyways, Chris Pine or Garret Hedlund are fine for the role. And while Robert Pattison sorta looks like he could do it, I want no Twilight star stepping into the boots of any major CBM character.

Josh Hartnett...im telling you...granted many of you will go WTF? but think about it....C.hall is too old to play Matt you need someone that will be 'flexible' also...add to the fact he has a tv show which he is the main star...but Hartnett is a great choice imo..

I can actually see Fox going with Robert Pattinson. No doubt he'd bring in the dough for this movie. They already got a director who's done a Twilight movie too... So you never know.

I can see Chris Pine as Matt Murdock - he's already played a blind dude before and was pretty good at it (per what my ex said - either that or she just LIKED Chris Pine).

I'd probably also choose Jason Statham purely for the reason that the guy actually can do almost all of his stunts and his martial arts ain't completely fake - he really knows his stuff and stunt prep work won't take as long as those who've never studied at all. But if he can't be Lead, I'd want him as one of the lead bad guys.

I though Affleck did a good job as Daredevil. He should continue playing the roll, maybe even help write the script. I do like Bradley Cooper for a comic hero, just not Daredevil, more like Hank Pym

I agree for continuity purposes Ben Affleck and after seeing "The Town" given the right script and director Affleck is the man!!! I say this is my order with Affleck at #1 only for that purpose.

1) Ben Affleck
2) Garret Hedlund
3) Michael C. Hall

Either way it goes with Fox doing this I doubt anything good will come out of it. They could surprise us though because I'm sure they now know what an epic failure project after project has been.

***disclaimer: this is completely my own opinion***

i feel like matt murdock should be played by a lanky guy (as in tall and slender with long arms and legs).

some of those guys seem too old to play the man without fear. tron legacy is a great movie and garrett hedlund is awesome as sam flynn but he didn't look all that imposing in his skin-tight suit. after all, daredevil is ninja and he's pretty much an acrobat. you don't want someone too bulky or heavy set like jason statham in all his movies or bradley cooper a la A-Team.

even though it's all speculation, i do, however, like the idea of robert pattinson as daredevil.

What about Shawn Roberts? He played Albert Wesker in Resident Evil Afterlife. I think he might be right for to play the DareDevil. Any thoughts?
