While reviewing Captain America: The First Avenger, Reuters have unwittingly revealed a surprise cameo from the upcoming movie. While there had been some speculation after he was spotted at the Stark Expo in a cartoony kids book, here is confirmation that the original Human Torch (aka Jim Hammond) WILL appear in the upcoming movie.

The Comic-Con crowd will thrill to the inside jokes that only they get -- World War II Marvel characters like the Howlin' Commandos and the original Human Torch turn up -- but for most audiences, "Captain America" will feel like a movie they've already seen and didn't love all that much the first time.

STARRING:

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America
Sebastian Stan as Bucky
Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter
Hugo Weaving as Johann Schmidt/Red Skull
Toby Jones as Arnim Zola
Stanley Tucci as Abraham Erskine
Tommy Lee Jones as Col. Chester Phillips
Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark
Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan
JJ Field as Union Jack
Derek Luke as Gabe Jones
Kenneth Choi as Jim Morita

RELEASE DATE: July 22nd, 2011. (US) July 29th, 2011. (UK)

I [frick]ing knew it! I bet he and Namor will cameo during a battle montage :) And this means the Vision will be in the Avengers sequel.

I'm not going to believe it until I see it... because the writer of this review was VERY anti-Cap. He seemed to hate it. Here is a quote

"Stop yawning, this is very important stuff. If you won't sit still and watch the boring prequels, there can't be an awesome "Avengers" movie full of these same dullards."

Now maybe this movie will be bad, I don't know. But I don't trust someone who found this movie so boring, and also disliked Thor and X-Men: First Class, to be the best source for Jim Hammond having a cameo... He is obviously a comic-movie hater, and not the best source for this.

Here is the whole review
