Thanks to a heads up from TheBlackWidow (aka @Zarina_Romanoff) we now have the following video footage of Bane delivering his message to Gotham. However, this one gives us a revealing look at the scenes described here on CBM last night, along with a slightly clearer version of Tom Hardy's somewhat controversial take (among some fans anyway) on Bane's voice.

I feel indifferent to Bane's voice. We are only in pre-production people. It will sound better by post-production.

My only complaint is how tiny Bane looks compared to Batman. Growing up with the comics and cartoons i expected a fully roided-up looking Bane. lol

But ah...we are in a REAL world with Nolan so meh...

Knowing how Nolan works, I think that there is a REASON why Bane puts on that mask..

It sounds like it PAINS him to speak.

There must be something [frick]ed up with him..

My guess: His voice is like that for a reason. I'm sure all will be revealed upon viewing the movie.

guess what it still sounds shit.

-teaser trailer was shit
-bane's costume looks terrible
-bane isn't big enough
-bane voice sounds shit but still better than bale's
-catwoman doesn't even look like catwoman

& that is just the begining of what they've released.

I love how eeeevveerybody is so worried...let me ask you...when is the last time you witnessed something truly bad by Christopher Nolan..like, come on people..its not even done yet. Im a hater of DC but the new batman franchise has the best cbm ive ever seen

I was there for the filming yesterday and I can't vouch for why his speaking sounds so troubled, but I think a big part of why the voice sounds so odd is because of the mask. After they finished filming this scene, he announced a raffle winner (out of character) with the mask still on. You could tell it was his normal voice, but it still sounded messed up.

I didnt read or what any of these videos the last few days because I cant stand spoilers. I just can believe how public Nolan as mad this film.. He has soo much material leaking..

Also, back to the catwoman dilemma.. Im really starting to think that she will only be wearing goggles & no cowl with ears at all.. that sucks...

i dont accept sarcastic apologies bud
u can give opinions without sounding like a troll, which i know you're not

I used to do the same with TASM and The Avengers but I stopped once I saw that it was offending people that were hardcore fans of the characters and were enthusiastic for the film.

I still give my opinions about the film and let people know whether i like it or not, but i do it without sounding offensive

That will def not be his voice in the movie.. he had already mentions that he cannot talkin that thing after takes.. and cant hear anything,... his voice will be redubbed for the movie so i guess it doesnt matter if we like his voice or not!!!!!!

Sounds better than the other videos. Im a Nolan fan, I think he has yet to make a bad film. But I am worried about this one. I cant stand Catwoman's look, and Bane looks too small, and may not use Venom. I just hope somehow Nolan wants to worry us to surprise us with a film that ends up being great after all.

well like iv'e been saying these last couple weeks... we really shouldnt be seeing any of this stuff right now,.. we arent behind the camera or in the mindset of what Nolan is trying to capture.. its just extras and fans with their cell phones.. Nothing needs to criticized here. I have every bit of faith Noal will pull off another winner!

I think the voice is a total fake. You know that he will do a voiceover in post for the movie, just like Bale did to get the Batman "growl." People were saying he used a hispanic accent for one take (is that confirmed?), then the old man voice for another take. I think its gonna change completely by the time we see the movie. It actually sounds like he's having some fun with it. He may very well go with the weird old man voice, but I just think he was doing it to be silly, knowing it would be changed in post. I honestly thought Heath Ledger was gonna be a terrible Joker, and man did he prove me wrong. I think with Hardy as Bane it will be the same.
