New Footage From The Avengers To Be Shown At New York Comic Con!

Good news! After the reveal of new footage at Disney's D23 last month, we now have confirmation that more never-before-seen scenes from The Avengers will be shown at next month's New York Comic Con...

Thanks to a heads up from Twitter's @antovolk, here is confirmation from the New York Comic Con's website that new footage from The Avengers will indeed debut at the event set to take place in the Big Apple from October 13 - 16. With a ton of scenes shown at D23 and now this, it surely can't be long until a trailer is released!

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor” and “Captain America: The First Avenger,” in “Marvel’s The Avengers” the world's greatest Super Heroes must assemble to pull the world back from the brink of disaster when an unexpected enemy threatens global security. This special presentation will feature never-before-seen footage and appearances by special surprise guests.

@MaddMonkk - that rumour was debunked I think. Unlike mos other releases, I think the director will want to be very careful of what is included in the trailer. He may want to include Hulk, therefore the long wait until they get the CGI render just right for the character.

I am happy to wait for some official footage.

More than anything I'm looking forward to cracking open my Thor blu-ray this weekend and going straight to the Avengers extras. I think it'll be the first time I've ever purchased a movie and watched the extras first!

Mark that date on the calender! When the footage is posted on line you better see it fast before it's taken off by Marvel. I hope with Disney they'll start marketing Marvel's movies with showing more footage!
