Keaton is indeed the best batman..go see Nostalgia Critics review of Old vs New with batman vs the TDK...i love the original cuz of the nostalgia factor and well...its sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. it feels like a real live action comicbook...i watched it recently and joker still makes me laugh...Nichalson was the better joker

Keaton is still an actor I would love to see in theatres. He needs something that feels right to him though. But I think he could still do a lot.

I remember thinking that he'd be a great old bruce wayne when there were rumors that they were going to do a batman beyond movie before they started production to batman begins. It'd be epic to see him in that role.

As for who's the better batman, it's hard I grew up on keaton and kilmer...and yes clooney...but I love the epic feel that nolan's movies have too. I think they're equal...well except for clooney.

I think Keaton made a better Batman but Nolan makes better Batman movies.

It would be nice if Keaton got a role in the next Batman film, not as Batman but as another famous character from the bat-books or if he played a role in smallville. a role which was a nod to bruce wayne or someething... :) Problem with both parts is.. hes getting older now..

i don't get it either buddy. i don't know if most people around here are just young, or what. its funny, because SO many people make fun of bale's voice, then turn around and say he's a better batman than keaton. it doesn't make any sense.

I love the old batman films, and Keaton was a good batman, but I just personally prefer bale's batman/wayne.

Oh good gawd how many times have i TRIED to ram the TRUTH through everyone's head!!!! MICHAEL KEATON was and until proven otherwise, WILL ALWAYS BE THE VERY BEST "BRUCE WAYNE"!!!!! Yes yes, he is the best Batman too, but way more so Bruce Wayne!!! Bruce Wayne is a deranged individual who is bent on avenging his parents and making sure it doesn't happen to others again. The most important thing to him is to make his parents proud of him. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS would Bruce Wayne act like Bale has made him out to be in the public eye!!! He'd never become someone that his father would be ashamed of like the Bruce that Bale has given us. Bruce YEARNS for a sign from them telling him that he is doing the "right thing" by them and by the people of Gotham!!! THAT is his holy grail, his never ending goal which will never the attained!!! THE GUY IS DAMNED, CURSED AND EVEN DOOMED!!! He's obsessed with it, it torments him constantly!!! It's a miracle that he can even get some SLEEP!!! Keaton BRILLIANTLY portrayed every single complex layer to Bruce's character. Bruce Wayne wasn't raised to be a snotty rich kid and never grew up to become an arrogant hotshot millionaire!!! No matter what you THINK a millionaire acts like, THAT'S NOT BRUCE WAYNE!!! Bruce Wayne has always been a charming yet regular man with a shitload of money in public eye and a brooding avenger at night! Although there are MANY facets to Bruce, he is the LEAST FAKE human being. Every facet you see of him IS HIM!!! Nothing is a charade when it comes to Bruce which makes him incredibly complicated to portray and makes Michael Keaton's performence that much more MONUMENTAL!!! Michael Keaton is DEFINITELY the best Bruce Wayne and also the best Batman!!! It's the batsuit's job in a batfilm to be dark and scary no matter how tall and muscular the person in it is. It's then the actor's job to make the suit come alive which Keaton did better than anyone else. We can argue details all we want, the fact is that Keaton, all 5'9 165 lbs of him, was the best batman EVER!!! That actually makes him that much more of an outstanding actor! Not many people of his size could have pulled of what he did as convincingly!!! Michael Keaton IS Batman!!!

Superdog- That is very true. The only thing that makes me cringe with him as Green Lantern isn't primarily aimed at him. It will depend A LOT on Martin Campbell and what HE'll let Ryan do. Hopefully, Martin'll whip Ryan into shape! We all know Ryan has the talent, he just doesn't have an ounce of judgement to use it on his own. He NEEDS a good director to shut him the [frick] up!!!
