It's been a while since we've heard anything on the Aquaman front, but now Latino Review have provided a few juicy details on who might just take the helm of Arthur Curry's solo movie in 2018. According to them both Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter, MUD) and Noam Murrow (300: Rise Of An Empire) are the directors Warner Bros' are looking at to guide Jason Momoa through the perilous depths. Both have very different filmmaking styles, but that might fit with what the site are also hearing about 2 different scripts doing the rounds. As far as casting goes, word is that WB are waiting for Star Trek 3 to finish production because they are interested in Karl Urban (DREDD) for an "unspecified supporting role", which could well be the villain, Ocean Master.

I think Nichols is a very inteetsing choice, but considering I named the 300 sequel as one of my worst films of 2014, I'm a tad less enthusiastic about Murro! What do you guys think?
