More New GAME OF THRONES Season 5 Images Spotlight The 'Sand Snakes'
We've briefly glimpsed the bastard daughters of Prince Oberyn "The Red Viper" Martell in a couple of Game Of Thrones season 5 promos, but now we have the first official stills of Obara (Keisha Castle-Hughes), Nymeria (Jessica Henwick), and Tyene (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers).
“We haven’t seen women like this on Game of Thrones before,” Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider) explains. “You have lone wolves like Arya and Brienne, and others like Daenerys or Cersei, who are politically strong surrounded by men. But you haven’t seen women who are strong together and who collaborate – which is a dangerous thing. We’re three girls who are violent and manipulative who are thirsty for Lannister blood.” If these ladies are half as accomplished in battle as their father, I'd be hiding my gold cloak if I were a Lannister. Game Of Thrones returns for its fifth season on April 12.
