Latino Review's El Mayimbe is back with yet another Marvel related scoop, but one we'll have to take with a pinch of salt for now. According to him the role of Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel has already been cast, but the identity of the actress is being kept top secret by Marvel. As many of us suspected, the character will apparently make her big-screen/live action debut in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. This is something that's been rumored since before the movie even went into production, as Danvers did appear in previous script drafts. As far as the 2018 solo movie goes, plot details are under wraps, but Mayimbe has heard that writer Jim Starlin has been brought on board the project as a consultant.

Again, none of this is confirmed, but it does make sense to give Danvers a cameo in Age Of Ultron if she's to join the team eventually -- then again it makes just as much sense for it to be Black Panther or Doctor Strange, so we'll see what happens. If Marvel has indeed cast the role already, who do you think it is? Sound off in the usual place.
