New ARROW Set Pics Come With Massive SPOILERS
As new episodes of CW's Arrow shoot in downtown Vancouver, a couple of images from the set have found their way online. One features Katie Cassidy in her Black Canary duds, and the other... well, you'll have to click on to find out, but beware of MAJOR SPOILERS if you do...
In the closing moments of the Fall finale of Arrow, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) was left fighting for her life after being riddled with bullets. Though we didn't get to see her ultimate fate, most fans assumed it wasn't the end for the character and she would pull through. Others speculated that she may return in a wheelchair (or be "Oracled" as it's been referred to) and it appears that's exactly what's happened. Here are the latest photos from the Vancouver set courtesy of Canadagraphs.
In the comics, Oracle was the name taken by Barbara Gordon after being confined to a wheelchair by the Joker. It's long been assumed that Felicity would eventually take the Oracle mantle on Arrow and perhaps eventually team up with some other female characters (Black Canary and Huntress for example) to form the Birds Of Prey. That remains to be seen, but from the looks of things they're definitely taking her down the Oracle path anyway. Thoughts?
Arrow returns on Wednesday 20th January with "Blood Debts".
