Darren Aronofsky was originally slated to helm The Wolverine so it's likely he had a very unique viewpoint while watching James Mangold's film. Plus, Arrow X-Men: Days of Future Past and Thor: The Dark World interviews.

Roy Harper actor Colton Haynes looks back at the stunt work her performed in Arrow season one. He also hints that there was more footage from his and Thea's (Willa Holland) hectic evacuation from The Glades in the first season finale that might show up in season two.

Here's another interview with Thor: The Dark World actor Tom Hiddleston where he discusses his 1:1 Olly Moss wrap poster and discusses the reshoots that recently occurred in Marvel's Manhattan Beach studio.

Actor Ben Foster is asked whether he'd like to return as Angel in X-Men: Days of Future Past. It's probably a little late for a cameo but the actor (jokingly) says he's game. Perhaps in an X-Force movie?

Last week, director Darren Aronofsky watched James Mangold's The Wolverine. Here's what he thought.

even Aronofsky liked the Wolverine :)

my favourite scene of the movie: Logan explores modern day Nagasaki. He recognises the dwell he was once trapped in.
Suddenly he starts to remember.

Second one is the one with bear.

Loved The Wolverine. Glad Aronofsky is cool and just liked it. Half-expected him to be critical.

I think the bear scene is one of the best scenes in Comicbookfilm history.

It's just so powerful. Especially as a metaphor for Logan.

Really? Why did everyone like Wolverine? Am I the only one who was disappointed by the ending?

Loved The Wolverine! Best CBM of 2013 so far. I hope Thor: The Dark World is even better.

@moviemaster: The ending was a little weak but I don't think it was bad enough to detract from how awesome the rest of the movie was.

i thought the wolverine was great till the 3rd act.

It was a good film, but there was too much talking, not enough love making, or action. Wolverine is an animal, ferocious. It looked too tame in this movie. Maybe it was due to mental locks by Xavier, or maybe it was the difference in direction. Matthew Vaughn made sure to honor our hairy friend.

@moviemaster

yeah, third act was a little weird (messy) + his soldier line at the end scene also didn't do it for me ...
(They kind of redeem themselves with that last Yukio line - "Where to now ?")
Train fight also didn't do it for me.

But those are minor flaws. The ammount of work they did pull to make this movie work ... The movie was astonishing.

Third act didn't really bother me, it was just a little more action. Can't wait to see the whole ninja fight on director's cut. Blood shall be spilt.

He would never trash the film because he's friends with both Mangold and Jackman. He would've done a different movie though.

Loved the first to acts of the film, but thought the third act was somewhat silly (lame Silver Samurai).

not necessarily. His movies are slightly depressing. Too depressing. Mangold style is much lighter.
I'm okay with how it all went.

The marvel fanboys will do anything to trash a great film.

The third act had problems, but it wasn't downright terrible. It was good. Had great moments. Liked the fight between Samurai and the reason he was doing. Added more character.

I still feel we haven't had an accurate Wolverine movie but this one comes closest for me.. That being said I don't feel the movie was all that good.. It was better than IM3 and MoS but they weren't special either, so for me, 2013 has been kind of weak so far.. Hope Thor kicks ass..

I loved the wolverine sure some things would have been better being different like the silver samurai, but the main thing I didn't like about the silver samurai is how it seemed not a big deal to have been able to find adamantium and so much of it and to mold it perfectly thought that was odd thought the choice of making him go back to bone claws was interesting as long as he gets his metal ones back which I'm sure he will and curious how. Also can't wait for the other version in blu ray I bet that will make me enjoy it even more.

What you just said made really wish Dan was directing this movie insteading.

I thought the movie was good, even if the final act meh but it really didn't bring the movie down for me. I wanna see it again but I just wait till the unrated version come out on Blu ray

The wolverine = best CBM of the year (so far)
Loved EVERYTHING until the final act, that was underwhelming
But anyway it could even worse (MOS)
I want more wolvie solo movies by james magnold, and maybe one by mathew vaughn

i loved the wolverine,it kept me engrossed thorough out, it did lose me when they showed the silver samurai robot, and the fight but it engaged me again when yashida was taking his healing factor away, i am not gonna compare this to iron man 3 and man of steel cause they are three different movies with different ideas , ireally liked iron man 3 and man of steel but they were never able to fully immerse me in their ideas or stories or characters as the wolverine did, hence it being my favorite superhero film of the year so far

I was really shocked when The Wolverine ended up being my favorite comic book movie of the year. Hugh Jackman owned the character this time around, past films just had Wolverine as an action hero, this one had actual character development.

The train fight scene was epic, which is weird cuz it's a total cliche but its unlike anyother train fight scene. And the bear/bar scene was badass. I didn't really care for the final fight scene that much until Logan loses his claws. SO BADASS!!! Never saw that coming!

I love cbms. But everyone must have seen a different wolverine. Cause my wife and I about fell asleep twice during the movie. I thought it was an improvement on the last wolverine/xmen movie. But I thought it was poorly executed. But I still love Hugh jackman though. I just think his acting skills and love for the character are not used to the fullest.

I think everyone saw the same film, but some of us wanted it to be good to the point of denial. The film is undeniably boring.
