Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.'

Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Ser Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Queen Cersei Lannister, Emilia Clarke as Queen Daenerys Targaryen, Kit Harington as Jon Snow, Aidan Gillen as Lord Petyr Baelish, Charles Dance as Lord Tywin Lannister, Natalie Dormer as Lady Margaery Tyrell, Liam Cunningham as Ser Davos Seaworth, Stephen Dillane as King Stannis Baratheon, Carice van Houten as Lady Melisandre, Alfie Allen as Prince Theon Greyjoy, John Bradley as Samwell Tarly, Jack Gleeson as King Joffrey Baratheon, Isaac Hempstead-Wright as Bran Stark, Sophie Turner as Lady Sansa Stark, Maisie Williams as Lady Arya Stark, Gwendoline Christie as Brienne of Tarth and Jerome Flynn as Ser Bronn.

Awesome stuff Nail. Looking at the video it's easy to forget how many special effects shots they actually use.

Great reminder that we have to wait another year for Season 5. Either way, cool reel.

Wow...there are a lot of scenes where the CG is simply seamless. I wouldnt have known otherwise while watching the show.

this is an awesome video. I mean you know you are looking at CG sometimes (and others you don't) but the amount of work going in to just an establishing shot is quite remarkable. Cannot wait for the new season. and I don't mean winter
