The Hollywood Reporter is reporting, Rose Leslie ("Downtwon Abbey"), who played the redhead wilding Ygritte in HBO's highly-acclaimed series Game of Thrones, has joined the cast of The Last Witch Hunter. The film will feature Vin Diesel ("The Pacifier") as the last witch hunter, who partners up with Leslie's character.... a witch! The film will be set in modern New York, and will follow their two characters as they go on a mission to "stop a villainous witch queen from obtaining a relic and unleashing a plague upon humanity." It'll be directed by Breck Eisner, and should begin filming this August.

Bl00dwerK - 7/11/2014, 3:52 PM
Rose makes it worth watching...

Why is proof reading some kind of lost and forgotten art? I'm not talking about spell check, because it doesn't catch things like how you replaced on with no, or how you put in a there when it should be their. I don't want to be a grammar nazi, but do you realize how much you spot stuff like this if you read enough online articles. Just the little extra please

ShallowDeadpool - Yes, I suck.

They kinda messed up Ygritte in season 4

SPOILERS

She was relegated to a couple of speaking scenes, and then looking grim while killing farmers, so that when she actually dies the impact was lessened. Should have had more screen time.

Sounds like sh*t but props to nail biter on having Vin diesels name followed by the pacifier lol
MileHighRonin - 7/11/2014, 4:01 PM
Sweet! She is so gorgeous, screw it, she is sexy. If she can pull of an american accent, lol can't believe I just said that, she is perfect for a young Jean Grey. They never gave her, jean, freckles in the comics but does that matter? She is red headed, and can play a strong woman. Rose Leslie for red.

I AM GROOT!!!

Mmm..Rose Leslie.
nailbiter111 - 7/11/2014, 4:02 PM
RorMachine - I agree. I would've actually changed her fate. That was a moment that they shouldn't have followed the books. Her strong onscreen presence made her deserve a better outcome.
InfiniteMonkey - 7/11/2014, 4:04 PM
Vin must be on the hunt for a holiday home in the Carpathians or Greece to do this shit.

He's going to bang her.

TheRationalOne - 7/11/2014, 4:05 PM
No. No props for that. The man has made some good films. So why don't we say "Vin Diesel (A Man Apart)"? Or "Vin Diesel (Knockaround Guys)"? Or "Vin Diesel (Pitch Black)"? You gotta throw The Pacifier in there just to be a dick.

(The Pacifier) lol

The problem with Ygritte's death was how they adapted it for the show. It occurred a full season after she last shared scenes with Jon. After so much time had passed (for us), it wasn't nearly as emotional and devastating as it should've been. Still, I'm sure her death is ridiculously important to Jon's character development in the future.

"You know nothing Jon Snow"......he sure knew what to do in that cave, if you know what I mean.
McGee - 7/11/2014, 4:45 PM
^^ Yeah, but she had to tell him what to do.

McGee - 7/11/2014, 4:48 PM
...and I'm sure it didn't take long for that first nut.

^That's gotta be some kind of photoshop, right? I definitely feel like I would've seen that by now if it were real haha

@McGee haha

Mmmmmm...sexy redheads are welcome anytime.

"set in modern New York"

Naaah, me no likey. But if it doesn't look as bad from the start as, say, 'I, Frankenstein' and gets halfway decent reviews I'll watch this just to support Rose. I really wasn't happy with how they handled Ygritte in the show after they crossed the Wall. Both character and actress deserved better.

Redheads

She gets naked on the show.
batz11 - 7/11/2014, 8:31 PM
@theRational...lighten up dude, that's Nail's shtick...it's kinda humorous seeing the actor's most embarrassing role brought to attention, lol...at least for me...
batz11 - 7/11/2014, 8:33 PM
Loved her in GoT, but gorgeous red heads, yah say?
Mmmmmm...
ManCalledSting - 7/12/2014, 2:40 AM
Misstion? She's a gorgeous lady, and I liked her parts I saw on Game of Thrones. If she gets nekkid in this movie, I'll deffintly watch it.
