THE DARK KNIGHT RISES: New Posters For Catwoman & Batman (Low-Res)

Just remember these are not official theatrical posters, these are actually official merchandising posters. The Batman poster reuses the promotional image that we've seen before, but the logo with it seems new and cool in my opinion. The Bane/Batman's broken cowl has been seen over and over again, so I don't need to spend any more time talking about.

Ah, but the real prize is the new Catwoman poster. Anne Hathaway is looking might sexy in this stretched out pose and the cool graffiti image in the background is a bonus for sure.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

As for the whole "Catwoman looks good." Of course it does, it's like a pixalated digital airbrushed image, not Anne Hathaway herself exactly.

Movie stills and set photos. That's what I care about when it comes to images of a film.

The Catwoman poster is actually kind of badass. Way more zazz to it than you normally see in Batman these days. It's actually what the hell Batman in general needs now, Batman's world has been kind of stale for the past few years.

You know, the last two posters up there sum up exactly what I mean. They're just so...done already. The second one is absolute overkill on the dark and gritty approach.

catwoman one is great ... love the dark magenta and black combo. like candle-wax magenta color. they are really playing up the sex angle. that mask is very eyes wide shut anyway.

It's really funny seeing someone with a Spider-Man av saying Spider-man's marketing team is better. People with publisher-specific avatars predictably talking smack about anything and everything made by another publisher makes me giggle. SOOOOOO predictable and juvenile.
