Samples From THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Children's Books Show Catwoman's Thievery

Not much for spoilers in these images since most everyone knows that Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) will be ganking something precious from Bruce Wayne. This shows us the setup and execution of the dastardly deed.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

The best was The Dark Knight kids book. I remember reading that in Barnes n Nobles after the movie was released. Pure comedy gold.

@Guardian, the second time I went to see the Avengers, some ladies in line behind me thought that Green Lantern was in the Justice League, then were convinced that he was actually an Avenger, and then got so excited to see him join the team in the sequel. I just didn't have the heart to tell them how wrong they were...

I hope this book is a page-by-page adaptation of TDKR. It will be, hands down, the greatest film ever made.

love it! it's even DARKER, even GRITTIER, even more NOLAN-IER than Nolan's Nolanverse of the caped crusader ^_^

If I had kids, I would have no problem with reading them this book before bedtime.

Because this is Batman related, this beats out Everybody Poops as my favorite children's book... well almost. :P

Also, when Selina Kyle steals the necklace in the movie, she's wearing a black dress. Her cover in the movie is that of a party guest, not a maid. And why is the quality of art so great on the pages where Selina is robbing Bruce compared to the others? The rest of the book should look exactly like that.

Batman in the Nolan incarnation should not be marketed to kids. As Lucius Fox emphasizes in TDK, "This is WRONG."
