''he can monitor criminal activity in real time.'' Does this means Batman is still using the sonar thing from TDK?
Praetorian - 6/5/2012, 9:10 PM

Maybe since Ra's died Bane is trying to start his own league of shadows & Miranda(talia) wants to stop him & help batman...idk just my opinion
marcuskiner - 6/5/2012, 9:52 PM
I really enjoy this site, and do not bash other people's favorite heroes. I am not the opinion dictator. However, some people try to much to bring forth negatives on every page. I wonder if the immaturity will ever stop?
marknjoanna - 6/5/2012, 10:00 PM

@Marcuskiner - I wonder if the immaturity will ever stop?

Punknjoanna is a perfect example of this by saying it probably won't.

A children's book?
nowtheresaBATman - 6/5/2012, 10:26 PM
@Batdag It wasn't a disappointment in TDK that there was no Batcave. The disappointment was everybody not realizing that the time between BB & TDK wouldn't have been realistic as far as rebuilding a mansion AND a new version of the cave. I thought his hide-out in the city was awesome & straight out of the comics.
Supes17 - 6/5/2012, 10:26 PM
What "Book" did he get this info from??
Supes17 - 6/5/2012, 10:27 PM
I guess that with his body inceinerated no one could really take him to the Lazarus Pits, anyway lol
Supes17 - 6/5/2012, 10:29 PM
@Batdag:
The mansion and cave were burned down... Only 6 months passed between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight...
FireKnightRises - 6/5/2012, 10:36 PM
I guess bane infiltrated the cave in this film
R888 - 6/5/2012, 10:57 PM
Can't freaking wait 1 more month till go
TheMarvelWay - 6/5/2012, 10:59 PM
This version of Batman reminds me of the old Marvel "What if?" comics, where things go all bad for the hero.
"WHAT IF BATMAN TOOK THE BLAME FOR HARVEY DENT'S MURDERS AND DEATH?"
1.The girl hes always loved is murdered by his arch enemy.
2.Batman and Gordon make the crazy decision to frame Batman, and attempt to cheat and steal victory from the Joker.
3.Due to the framing Batman decision, Batman retires after just one year as Batman and is possibly permanently injured and walks with a limp.
4.When Bane surfaces he thinks he can just suit up and fight Bane. But he is led into a caged trap by a woman, beaten, unmasked and humiliated.
5.Imprisoned in a Gotham overrun by criminals, and publically mocked.
6.Escapes, loses his limp and fights Bane, and becomes Batman one last time.

I like it!

this is nolan its all about realism
antonio - 6/5/2012, 11:12 PM
Yeah, it basically says Ra's scenes in TDKR are flashbacks and he DID NOT survive the train crash.
nowtheresaBATman - 6/5/2012, 11:15 PM
The Cat in the Hat :)
mawilli4 - 6/5/2012, 11:19 PM
I'm loving the sketch of the batsuit.
Batdag - 6/5/2012, 11:43 PM
@nowtheresaBATman : yeah I know that but at this time, we didn't even know if a third movie was planned .
I was definitely disapointed anyway. To me TDK was a good movie but definitely not a good Batman. TDKR will be a good mix between BB and TDK
nowtheresaBATman - 6/6/2012, 12:51 AM
@Batdag
That's true I feel TDKR will be a good mix of both.
I've always liked BB better than TDK but to say it's not a good Batman movie is completely sideways.

A trilogy was always planned. Bale said it himself. It's just Nolan wasn't the sure thing for director but after TDK's success he decided to see it through & to "end his story". But still looking back I'm glad the mansion & the cave weren't in TDK. Building a mansion in 6 months? sure maybe a billonaire could afford the resorces & the man power to make that happen but the cave is something that would & should be built up over time. Afterall it's just Bruce, Alfred & Fox right? it's not like he could hire a company to come in and build it for him like a mansion. I got over it quick w/ that realization.

I agree it was different or disappointing if you will not to have a cave featured in a Batman movie but shit for the trilogy's sake this 8 yr gap couldn't be a better set up for a new Batcave. It'll be worth the wait! :)
silverdog - 6/6/2012, 4:05 AM
sorry Anne Hathaway, not even in your best day you´ll resemble Audrey Hepburn
CrowPirate1 - 6/6/2012, 4:21 AM
So, IS Gordon-Levitt supposed to be the down to earth Robin in this trilogy or not?
timepuzzler - 6/6/2012, 4:24 AM
"The cave is concealed by massive stone cubes that mask the presence of any activity within."

Because nothing hides a billionaire vigilante playground quite like a series of MASSIVE STONE CUBES. lol

Detective #1: "Blake, I think we're close. I saw the Batmobile head in this direction."

Detective #2: "You're crazy, Grissom. That way is nuthin' but a bunch of massive stone cubes. Those things form in nature ALL THE TIME, and are certainly not carved by expensive precision lasers."

Detective #1: "Yeah, those are obviously not the result of someone attempting to obfuscate the entrance to something. What was I thinking? Herpa Derp."

this is nolan its all about realism

everytime i hear of nolans realism all i can think about is stuff like, the 80 floor free fall that crushed the cab but didnt even knock the wind out of the two that crushed it,the jokers head smashing the glass without cutting his face, joker going threw the metal detector with more metal than a scrap yard with no beeping and one of my favs, driving threw the mall instead of around it and tops it off by blowing up all thoses cars in the parking lot (that may or may not have had people or pets in them) for no reason whatsoever ala m. bay.

realism hum love must truely be blind lmao.
JackSass - 6/6/2012, 4:58 AM
teh toiz!
mgeoff88 - 6/6/2012, 5:08 AM
Those are cool pictures. The thing with Ra's make sense. This is Nolan we're talking about here.

Realism is so important to him in his Batman movies, it wouldn't make any sense if Ra's Al Ghul did.

I can't wait to see what the new and very improved Batcave looks like.
