Cool, I'm life long too...I guess all I need to do is be a total tool and I get a cameo too. Politicians get all the good stuff.

@Emanuel14 Cool
jonski22 - 7/3/2012, 7:02 PM

ronnie42 - 7/3/2012, 7:03 PM
First 2 movies were ok but the 3rd looks terrible, shame about heath ledget, the series needs another reboot. Get someone who knows how to make Bane look like Bane, not Hannibal.
LoudNoises - 7/3/2012, 7:04 PM
This guy isn't intimidated by thugs.
thewonderer - 7/3/2012, 7:08 PM
ronnie the first 2 films are the best CBMs of all time and some of the best movies or all time.

The 3rd looks just as fantastic.

And someone should tell Marvel to adapt a comic book storyline as Nolan does and stop making up their own
UrbanKnight - 7/3/2012, 7:12 PM
this guy reminds the joker of his father.
NerdyGeek - 7/3/2012, 7:13 PM
ronnie42: They already got some one to make Bane look like Bane, surprised you haven't seen it.

PapaII - 7/3/2012, 7:13 PM
After seeing this footage, i felt goosebumps, and it clearly confirms that Heath's Joker was one of the best villains of cinema of all times.
TheDetectiveComicRises - 7/3/2012, 7:17 PM
@thewonderer,Maximus101,TheIrishAvenger well said :)
GuardianAngel - 7/3/2012, 7:19 PM
This guy reminds the Joker that he didn't like his father.
TonyChu - 7/3/2012, 7:22 PM
@thewonderer The Avengers was based off of the Ultimates.
thewonderer - 7/3/2012, 7:41 PM
@Tonychu

lol really? On what part exactly?
AsianVersionOfET - 7/3/2012, 7:42 PM
Lucky dude
TonyChu - 7/3/2012, 7:51 PM
The entire Chitari invasion and SHEILD recruiting the Avengers was loosley based off the Ultimates.
vtopa - 7/3/2012, 7:54 PM
I don't get the connection. Why is Leahy in these movies? Is he a friend of Nolan's or something?
CaptainAmerica31 - 7/3/2012, 7:57 PM
I can't wait! Now TASM is over I wanna see my next favorite hero
CPBuff22 - 7/3/2012, 8:00 PM
Good for him, why is this relevant for me though?
thewonderer - 7/3/2012, 8:07 PM
@Tonychu

Loosely is shit, every CBM is loosely based on its source. [frick] loosely
LinkHall - 7/3/2012, 8:10 PM
I agreed with thewonderer until he said Marvel was making up their own I thought Avengers was based off of the Ultimates line
darkbeefstakes - 7/3/2012, 8:19 PM
bit more shamelessly promotion. I worked really hard on a TV spot for the Imported from Gotham competition, unfortunately my submission was screwed over because the site experienced technical difficulties when i uploaded it. So after several days of emailing, begging, and complaining i was finally able to get through. I only have a 40 more minutes to display it. So please! Watch, rate, and enjoy. I think it came out pretty awesome.
Heres the link: http://www.importedfromgothamcity.com/?x=us-en_seeentries_3809_40

just wait a second or two for the video to load. Thanks!
Weeton - 7/3/2012, 8:38 PM
@thewonderer I don't see how you can argue that Nolan's Batman isn't "loosely" based on various series. TDK was a hodgepodge of The Killing Joke and elements from from The Long Halloween. You're dismissing Marvel's attempts to loosely base off their own works in order to dis them. Back up your cites before you base your arguments of strictly opinion.
GingerBird - 7/3/2012, 8:51 PM
Man, Intruder is SO smart! Have you guys ever noticed he is so much more advanced in his perception of what great filmmaking and acting is? Like, what we think is great cinema, obviously we're wrong, we just aren't seeing it correctly.
thewonderer - 7/3/2012, 8:54 PM
@Weeton

Because the exact plot of Nolans films are from comics. Every significant part of Nolans films comes somewhere from the comics.

A hodgepodge as you say is perfectly acceptable. There is no part in the Avengers comics where Loki UNDER Thanos with HIS army attacks this exact group of Avengers. BUT, I don't blame the exact group so much as the Loki under Thanos.

Also Thors origin IS COMPLETELY different. Not familiar with Cap and Iron Man comics so much, but I know they aren't that similar either at all.

I'm not really condemning Marvel so much as attacking claims than Nolan isn't doing comic book justice. I just happen to do that by criticizing Marvel.

And my claim is easily supported if you've read The Long Halloween and Year One

GoILL - 7/3/2012, 9:04 PM
He was in that piece of shit Batman & Robin as well.
TonyChu - 7/3/2012, 9:16 PM
You do know that both Catwoman and Black Widow wear blaack skin tight outfits in the comics and Catwoman was created before Black Widow. So yeah.
TonyChu - 7/3/2012, 9:16 PM
*black
GoILL - 7/3/2012, 9:19 PM
Would rather watch the Nolan version than Schumacher's any day. Bane in the Schumacher movie was a grunting piece of shit dude that could not speak.
DeadPoolTX - 7/3/2012, 9:40 PM
@thewonderer

And what exactly are you getting out of criticising Marvel?

I love both Marvel and DC equally but I will admit that Nolan has done an amazing job giving us a pretty damn good series so far but to me it sounds like you are just criticising Marvel at every turn because DC hasn't got there shit together and has only given us ONE good Batman trilogy (Burton ruined the first two and Schumacher completely ass[frick]ed the next two) hating Marvel because of jealousy that Marvel did something DC doesn't have the balls to do.

The Long Halloween was pretty damn good though I agree there.
ronnie42 - 7/3/2012, 10:02 PM
@Farkosaurus now thats a true Bane, the new Bane is a utter joke. I never said the first 2 films were bad. I only said the 3rd looks terrible.
GoILL - 7/3/2012, 10:06 PM
@ronnie42 good luck finding someone who looks like that in real life.
TonyChu - 7/3/2012, 10:41 PM
@ ronnie42 Appearances can be deceiving, although that does look like Bane he was nothing like his comic book counterpart. He was just some dumb brute and contributed nothing towards the progress of the movie. So you would rather take that Bane than a version of him in which he is a tactful thinker and have a a well developed character?
Oxbow - 7/3/2012, 11:16 PM
Leahy is a big batman fan apparantly and well, one thing led to another...lucky old white dude gets to be a senator AND be in a couple of batman movies lol
95 - 7/3/2012, 11:32 PM
He cameo-ed in a masterpiece, then.
Good for him.
95 - 7/3/2012, 11:32 PM
Well, two masterpieces, now.
Minghagz - 7/4/2012, 12:07 AM
@TonyChu - well said. That was the one complaint I had about AC. They poorly portrayed Bane. And I gotta be honest, I didn't like the design either.

Kalel219 - 7/4/2012, 1:00 AM
Yet again, thewonderer has found his nose up Nolan's ass...again
UrbanKnight - 7/4/2012, 5:16 AM
