Close-Up View Of IRON MAN 3 Memorial

Click the jump to check it out new close-up images of the Iron Man 3 memorial on the Rose Hill, North Carolina set. The set is actually posing as a small town in Tennessee, and based off these new photos a tragedy has rocked the community.

We've seen this memorial site in the past set photos (link), but never this up close and personal. What's most intriguing about this memorial site is that it's next to what appears to be a crash site. There is a large crater in front of it. The nearby walls are burnt and partially collapsed in some sections. On the memorial itself there are messages that specifically mention the date "12/12."

According to my sources Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) has been filming scenes in this location. In the picture above you will see a Christmas tree lot. I'm told that lot will be set ablaze, and the faux water tower you see on the right is going to play an integral part as well. The tower will be attacked by a villain that is unknown at this time, and Iron Man will desperately try to catch it before it has a chance to impact the land below.

Iron Man 3 will be directed by Shane Black, and is expected to hit theaters May 3, 2013! The film stars: Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Gwyneth Paltrow (Virginia Potts), Don Cheadle (Col. James Rhodes), and with Ben Kingsley as the main villain.

So he was a soildier whose first name is Mike, somthing tells me that his death is going to be the consequence of either Tony Stark or James Rhodey actions, and will cause a strong sense of guilt and sorrow to that character.

And where's the memorial for Agent Coulson??!?!?!?

its COLDBLOOD he must die and get resurrected as that cyborg. STARK leaves b/c his tech is blamed for the accident. He goes to CHINA where he finds out the 10 rings and MANDARIN set him up so the USA would consider him a fugitive on the run. trying desperately to clear his name.

When I saw TDKR, the audience was shocked to see that Miranda was the daughter of the Head of the Demon..
but not me! No...I was spoiled a long time ago -___-

Most superheroes need to change their personalities when they are wearing a mask or when they are out of costumes. But not Tony Stark ... Tony Stark is Tony Stark even when he is Robert Downey Jr. :D ... He is the superhero this world needs and the one it deserves right now.

i hope rdjr. doesn't turn tony stark into a full-blown caricature of himself and doesn't ham it up to 11 with the constant groucho marx one-liners and the spastic quirkiness.
