Entertainment Weekly has just posted the first look at Justice League #12, and it features the Man of Steel smooching with someone other than his usual squeeze, Lois Lane. Who is it?

When DC Comics went through their reboot they ended Superman's marriage with Lois Lane, which opened up the possibilities of a new romance for the red and blue boy scout. As you can see on the cover of Justice League #12 Supes is earning his kissing badge with the one and only, Wonder Woman. Artist Jim Lee tells EW, "“Hopefully this will raise a lot of eyebrows. We welcome the watercooler chatter.”

If you've been following the comic this isn't much of a surprise, you've seen plenty of flirting between the two. But is this just a one-issue sale's stunt? Writer Geoff Johns says no, “This is the new status quo.” He insists that the Wonder Woman and Superman's new relationship will have an impact on the entire DC universe. Pick up a copy of Justice League #12, on sale Aug. 29.

not exactly "new" is it, i mean its been done before in All Star Batman, it makes sense I guess. Shame Superman's solo books can't match Wonder Womans title which has been one of the best titles in DC's arsenal.

Oh boy...SUPES! One of the things I've always disliked about Superman was his choice of women (woman) SPidey has like at least 3 hoes he bounces around from. Its just not realistic for a guy to be stuck on one woman ALL THE TIME. Alien or not, I think Superman has been on the "down low" for some time now.

It makes sense that Superman and Wonder Woman would be attracted to each other. This will make for great storylines, but some where down the line Lois will pop up in Supes love life, it's almost inevitable.

justice league is going down hill. i had to cancel my subs for both superman and action comics because nothing happens and they are badly written.
i have just bought and read all of GL blackest night and i i know how well geoff johns can write, but this colour by numbers justice league is well below parr. i really hope it improves regardless of whom supes is banging

i see wonder woman getting a pasting off lois lane rather soon if this happened, just the thought of superman stepping in to break them up and taking one below the belt from lois, lois lane kills the superman universe over supermans affair would make a great tag line, well there is always the main man available and capable of beating both wonderwoman and superman, i mean Lobo and lois the biker chick from hell.
seriously would make great read and exceptinal movie:)

I'm okay with it. It could be a lot worse. At least they didn't go for the politically correct crowd this time around like they did with the original Green Lantern (not that there is anything wrong with that.) Or they could have had him fling with someone like Livewire or Harley Quinn which would make no absolute sense at all.

I like it. It opens a lot of possibilities from a story-telling POV, and I always thought it make more sense for Superman to date someone like WW (won't age, can match him phisically, is a superhero...) than someone like Lois (he has to hold back phisically with her, will age and die while he is still young...)
