Disney's fantastical adventure "Oz The Great and Powerful," directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum's beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

I'm really unsure if this will be good or not.
I am a Sam Raimi fan, so I'll go see it, but I couldn't say whether it will be a good movie or not....

CherryBomb - 12/10/2012, 5:43 AM
@Teabag Oh my, your poetry is beautiful. I love a man in-touch with his feminine side!
Super12 - 12/10/2012, 5:44 AM
I love that last clip of the Wicked Witch coming through the flames. Seriously brings me back to when I first saw Wizard of Oz. I think this movie will be great, I'm looking forward to it!

no matter how many times i see this trailer or the first one, it still looks like poop to me. I know a lot of people are very positive on it, i just don't see why.
AlexDeLarge87 - 12/10/2012, 6:24 AM

This movie has flying monkeys in it so I'm in. :P This actually does looks pretty good.

I hope we get Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 Sam Raimi here.

@teabag I used to do freestyle rap battles back in the day, so me and you should go against each other sometime... On second thought, you would wipe the floor with me. :P

@CherryBomb Hey, I haven't seen you on here for a bit, how are you doing? :)

So you probably really like a guy with a strong feminine side? Because I... erm... my friend... has a strong feminine side. ;P
pintoman - 12/10/2012, 6:58 AM
Yea, really bad poster....makes it look like a 'direct to DVD' film.
mgeoff88 - 12/10/2012, 7:19 AM
@teabag Lol!

*TDKR Bane Voice* Bane: I was supposed to be wearing a luchador style mask, instead I was given a gimp-jockstrap thing that made me look like an ass. I used to have a Spanish accent that made the ladies swoon, now when I speak like this I'm having a hard time even getting to spoon. I may have broken The Dark Knight's back, but he has kicked my ass so many times I'm starting to feel whack.

:P
BackwardGalaxy - 12/10/2012, 7:44 AM
So, Mila Kunis is playing the witch Dorothy lands on?
Squish - 12/10/2012, 7:58 AM
@cherrybomb - Will you marry me?
jimpinto24 - 12/10/2012, 8:34 AM
Oz:The Great & Powerful is on my list of movies to see in 2013. Can't wait!
Battabing - 12/10/2012, 9:19 AM
More Disney bullshit.
Darth258 - 12/10/2012, 9:25 AM
Looks good, i'm looking forward for this.

@BackwardGalaxy: No, she plays the green one, the one who Dorothy melts with water.
TheAbomination - 12/10/2012, 10:23 AM
I'm disliking this movie's chances more and more each day.

And Mila Kunis is playing the other witch. The one that doesn't get hit by Dorothy's house.
Minato - 12/10/2012, 11:09 AM
Sh!t movie
Bring on the Reboot
mgeoff88 - 12/10/2012, 7:19 PM
@teabag LOL! You be dropping those sick rhymes, yo. Mad respect. :P
riseofloganX36 - 12/10/2012, 9:38 PM
This is just another way for holly wood to make a crappy shitty remake. I bet the sequal will be called OZ or wizard of OZ. Dorthy will be in it and thats just sad. It's sad that holly wood is saying the first color movie is garbage so lets remake it cause people of today say the acting sucked in the origanal.

I always new with all these remakes Holly Wood would find a way to remake The wizard of Oz and here you go.

UNTIL next time TRUE BELIEVERS!
