TankD - 12/29/2012, 11:16 AM
Man even Nolans story boards for this movie were half ass!
Niuhll - 12/29/2012, 11:20 AM
How is that half ass? It contains all the information it needs to contain.
HeadPool420 - 12/29/2012, 11:27 AM
Steve Skrose is probably the best storyboard artist I have seen! His stuff looks like finished comic book panels! Whoever did the chicken scratch here is a lazy artist!
CaptainObvious - 12/29/2012, 11:37 AM
@TankD- Storyboards are just references. They are not supposed to be beautiful works of high-art.
TrueRedBlue - 12/29/2012, 11:37 AM
@TankD Half-assed? I don't think you understand how storyboards work, kid. TDKR was a spectacle to behold.
SmellofDuty - 12/29/2012, 11:48 AM
I bought a collected edition of the scripts, and it has the airplane hijack scene storyboard, freakin great man.
Jollem - 12/29/2012, 11:48 AM

SmellofDuty - 12/29/2012, 11:51 AM
As in from my camera

TankD - is either trolling or has never seen storyboards before. don't pay him no mind.
staypuffed - 12/29/2012, 12:05 PM
Looks pretty good to me. A lot of people say storyboards are like a comic, which they are.
Bandido - 12/29/2012, 12:33 PM
That's actually pretty cool! Nice find @nailbiter111
Parker2017 - 12/29/2012, 12:33 PM
those are soem greast detialed story boards :p
PapaMidnite - 12/29/2012, 1:02 PM
@TankD, i'm a storyboard artist and i can garantee you: they're fine! Cinematic storyboards aren't supposed to be like comic books. They're decoupage of intentions and camera angles, not design.

Thank you nailbiter! Those bad boys went directly to my references folder! ;-)

He looks like a friend of Tobias Funke and Barry Zuckercorn.

Bandido - ty

PapaMidnight - welcome. you should post some of your work, I'm sure most of us would love to see some.
TankD - 12/29/2012, 2:06 PM
I wasnt trolling I was joking and I have seen plenty of story boards I was just giving tdkr some trouble. Never meant to offend.
TankD - 12/29/2012, 2:09 PM
And all I was saying is I think Nolan and company could of put forth more effort to make this a great film which it is decent but it was a huge disappointment for me.
PapaMidnite - 12/29/2012, 3:15 PM
@nailbiter, at the moment i'm working in TV cartoons for kids, as 'My Big Big Friends' [Discovery kids] and 'Sitio do Picapau Amarelo' [Cartoon Network Latin America].
JaySin420 - 12/29/2012, 3:34 PM
Say what you want about TDKR but Bane's voice is one of the most entertaining things in the history of movies.

"It would be extremely painful....for you."
ToddDamian - 12/29/2012, 4:59 PM
Not bad, not bad at all.
Parker2017 - 12/29/2012, 5:00 PM
@PapaMidnight Thats pretty awesome! good luck to you on your story boarding (cause its always fun to do story boards)

I love how detail these are and how really awesoem they look.
0bstreperous - 12/29/2012, 6:09 PM

GoILL - 12/29/2012, 7:23 PM
Pretty nice stuff, nice find nail.
AUSSYACE - 12/29/2012, 7:44 PM
How about some body art instead...

mgeoff88 - 12/29/2012, 8:57 PM
Those storyboards are great.

I don't want to sound like a broken record here, but Bane's mask there is a lot better than what we got in TDKR.

@PapaMidnight That's great! Good luck with your career and everything. If you keep working hard, one day you could be doing storyboards for big-budget CBMs like TDKR. :)
JorLBola - 12/29/2012, 9:44 PM
Katy Perry is so beautiful...
monkeyhead78 - 12/30/2012, 7:09 AM
It has to be said, as an opening sequence that plane scene was amazing! and possibly one of my favourite quotes 'Now's not the time for fear..........that comes later'

I think I'll stick the film on now and watch it (again)
BrickWall - 12/30/2012, 12:48 PM
Great Movie. Great Trilogy. Encore....
PapaMidnite - 12/30/2012, 12:52 PM
@mgeoff and @Parker - thank you very much, guys! Work in a CBM would be a dream come true!
R888 - 12/31/2012, 4:08 AM
