Percy Jackson has had an unnervingly quiet school year. But then he discovers that the magical borders protecting Half Blood Hill are failing. Unless something is done, the camp will be attacked by demons and monsters. The only way to restore power to the camp's borders and to save their home is to find the mythical Golden Fleece. And the only who can undertake this dangerous quest are Percy and his friends. Embarking on a treacherous odyssey into the uncharted waters of the Sea of Monsters (known to humans as the Bermuda Triangle), they battle terrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and the ultimate Evil.

Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters (2013) directed by Thor Freudenthal, from a screenplay written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. The cast includes: Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Abel, Brandon T. Jackson, Douglas Smith, Leven Rambin, Nathan Fillion, and the always stellar, Stanley Tucci. The film swims into theaters August 7th, 2013!

As a fan of the original book series, I'm glad they are staying closer to the source material. But I still wish they were kids.
AnitaDick - 5/29/2013, 10:01 AM

NBAfanaddict - 5/29/2013, 11:09 AM
I'm having a weird sort of paradox when I look at her because I know her as Kate from White Collar which then makes me feel like she's way to old to play Annabeth, yet when I think of her as Annabeth, it weirds me out because i imagine Annabeth and Neal being in a relationship, and that's just weird considering that even if you take her older age in the movie (16 I think) that still makes it weird being that Neal is at least in his late 20's early 30's.

And reading back on that I realize that during no point during my rambling incoherent speech, did I give anything resembling a rational thought. Sounded better planned out in my head ;P
Dmon - 5/29/2013, 11:13 AM
Alexandra Daddario would make a good Lois Lane.
Odin - 5/29/2013, 11:31 AM
Okay, no sarcasm here; I'm happy about this movie, I've been waiting for it. I liked the books, and even though the first film wasn't that loyal to the source material(I so wanted to see Ares) I still enjoyed it.
StealthPWNAGE - 5/29/2013, 11:37 AM
That Alexandra Daddario, mmm mmm mmm! <3
