I just wish they would be going the mythological route more than the silly "realistic" route.

Wish it was Marvel's Hercules.

Nevertheless this still looks cool.

I really hope Ratner surprises us all and that this turns out to be a good movie.

I kinda doubt it though seeing as Ratner has only made one decent film in his life (Red Dragon).

I get the feeling this is just going to be "Scorpion King Goes To Greece" and not live up to its potential. Which sucks because Johnson is a bad ass. He just picks some shitty projects. He's way better than most of the movies he's in.

I gotta admit -- that image, that style, the direction it seems they are going with this... It looks really good.

This does seem more and more like Conan than Hercules.

How many of you guys have actually read up on Hercules? The whole look that the Rock is sporting is very accurate to how Hercules is described, never mind that this original story takes place after the 12 labors. Point is I don't see how you can say this looks more like Conan that Hercules.

I can't wait for this. The Rock is a decent actor, but this looks like he really transformed himself.

This looks great! The art direction is definitely impressive. I hope the story and acting are up to the visuals. I know there is a lot of hate aimed toward Brett Ratner but he is not a bad director overall. I have faith this will be good.

The dude is a beast. I'd like to see him play Captain Marvel or Black Adam.

The lion head is cool and all, but its Brett Ratner.
