We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

May not have a huge role in this movie, but hopefully by the fourth movie Spider Slayers will be introduced

Was the SevenWebHeads crap really necessary - seriously, the [frick]? why the [frick] is it necessary to include a fans video on the topic every [frick]ing time. I mean we have the [frick]ing image, we don't need a fan video included in the topic as well - especially when the fan is retarded.
nova480s - 3/30/2014, 10:05 AM
@scarilian..then don't watch it, u dont have to disrespect the guy
DestroyerofHaters - 3/30/2014, 10:05 AM
Scarilian- Might I suggest medicine for your anger? If not, a simpler solution would be to avoid clicking on any further fan videos. You're welcome.
ALmazing - 3/30/2014, 10:07 AM
He was decent in Saving Mr Banks, his role is probably a 4 minutes thing like Rhino,and then we'll see him transform in the Sinister Six movie.

@scarilian why do you hate seven so much? He's funny and his videos are awesome. If you don't like him don't click on the video.

Scarilian

You should be careful..
Scarilian - 3/30/2014, 10:39 AM
@nova480s
If the video is pointless and you agree - why the [frick] is it there?

@DestroyerofHaters
If you can think of a logical reason why CBM is being flooded with fan videos that are completely unnecessary - feel free to comment. Until then your comment remains null and void.

@Spidey31
He lies in his videos, constantly gets the facts wrong, constantly makes shit up for the sake of getting more views, uses fake titles and thumbnails, uploads copyrighted content on his channel, steals news from others claiming it is an inside source, blocks anyone who calls him out on his bullshit, etc...

I could go on - but that guy is an asshole.

@theowl
No reason to be careful - the video is made by someone who barely knows anything about Spider-man and only made it to make money from it. He uploads crappy videos every now and again and I have no conscious that any troll who supports him could possibly hope to offend.
theowl - 3/30/2014, 10:44 AM
Scarilian

big words from a little person behind a keyboard. Stop trashtalkig someone you obviously know nothing about.
npamusic - 3/30/2014, 10:49 AM
He's probably asking him to fix that electrical short thing, and boom, he turns into electro by falling into that tank of fish... yeah.
Dunejedi - 3/30/2014, 10:49 AM
I think I'm gonna get tacos for lunch.

Yeah, definitely getting tacos.
MercwithMouth - 3/30/2014, 10:49 AM
When did CBM.com become so flooded with asshats? So many users that all they do is whine and complain about the stupidest things...
npamusic - 3/30/2014, 10:52 AM
I'm with @Scarlian... this dude is making shit up. That Seven dude, he's a phony... a big fan phony..
CaptainAmerica31 - 3/30/2014, 10:54 AM
@scarllian can you give an example of some of the things? Seriously, I actually do think it's annoying when he claims he's right on everything. But I do want some examples. Idk YouTube wannabe stars like the douche bags at Pretty Much It think they're so above everybody. Eric Stifler gets so butt hurt so easily it's funny, he can't stand anyone's opinions but his owns. I wish there were more people like Jeremy Jahns and Schmoes
Scarilian - 3/30/2014, 11:06 AM
@theowl

As I mentioned in my comment - I have no conscious so your attempt to troll falls on death ears.

@Spidey31

I can understand the big headiness - but he really does flaunt that apparently he has all this inside information from Sony. The only reason he is actually popular is because sites like this constantly spam his link for no reason. I gave you a list already but below are just a few examples.

He lies in his videos;
- Stated that he had official confirmation from Sony that Vulture, Rhino and Electro would be the main villains in TASM2
Constantly gets the facts wrong;
- Claimed that Electro needed to absorb Electricity in order to survive
Constantly makes shit up for the sake of getting more views;
- Claiming a window cleaner was Venom.
Uses fake titles and thumbnails;
- Evident from simply viewing his videos
Uploads copyrighted content on his channel;
- Uploaded the 'Times Square Promo' trailer along with several other clips and trailers for the film
Steals news from others claiming it is an inside source
- Stole information from a theory video by a user called Venom2000000 and claimed it was official confirmation about the events with Harry and Norman
Blocks anyone who calls him out on his bullshit;
- As a member of his website I have seen no less than 14 members be banned for correcting him on his videos.
ComicsBornAndBred - 3/30/2014, 11:21 AM
Damn you tooo close SMYTHE!!
CaptainAmerica31 - 3/30/2014, 11:27 AM
@scar oh yea he did confirm that vulture was in the film. Didn't he also confirm that Colm Feore is playing the vulture? After it was confirmed he was playing Donald Menken he still keeps insisting that Menken is Adrian Tombes in disguise
cyclopstb - 3/30/2014, 11:52 AM
Didn't Smythe died in the ending of TASM The game ?
Scarilian - 3/30/2014, 11:53 AM
@Spidey31
Indeed he did. I don't mind casual fan speculation - but he labels everything as fact and makes up crap constantly to fit his theories. If he labelled things as theories then sure, they'd be good theories - though most the time he's just making shit up and it bugs me that CBM is constantly promoting him.
MrDonut - 3/30/2014, 11:54 AM
'I want you to blow me till you turn blue'
Scarilian - 3/30/2014, 11:55 AM
@cyclopstb
"Didn't Smythe died in the ending of TASM The game ?"

The games apparently follow the same universe as the movies however they don't take presidency. E.g. They can kill off whoever they wanted however the movies can bring them back whenever they choose.

In the game Smythe died sometime after the events of the first movie. In the films he's alive.
SuperiorMrGod - 3/30/2014, 12:15 PM
SevenWebHeads gives me a headache.

TheWebSlinger - 3/30/2014, 12:50 PM
@Soto, was that clip of Spidey rescuing Max final?? It feels like a rough cut.
TheDemonsHead - 3/30/2014, 1:03 PM
Uhhhhh

This spidey universe is barely tolerable
TheRealRemyLebeau - 3/30/2014, 1:22 PM
Can't wait for this.
Jimbobatpool93 - 3/30/2014, 2:41 PM
The Game loosely follow the spider-man universe because most people who see the movies don't play the games
AvatarIII - 3/31/2014, 2:57 AM
They've really "oldified" him up, and there's only ever one good reason for that. wanting to use the same actor to play the same character at multiple ages, that could be for flashbacks (perhaps Smythe worked with Richard Parker back in the day, and it will be shown), Time travel (unlikely in this universe), or perhaps Smythe will become the spider-slayer in a sequel, which rejuvenates him.

I am going to guess that he will have worked with Parker at oscorp and it will be shown in flashback, but I'm not going to discount the possibility of him becoming the spider-slayer, using oscorp genetic technology
