VIDEO: See New STAR WARS Actor Pip Anderson Do His Thing

We don't know who he'll play in Star Wars: Episode VII, but considering Anderson is a parkour expert there's a great chance his character will exhibit some of his impressive acrobatic skills. See the young man in action in 3 promo vids after the jump.

Like the rest of the new Star Wars: Episode VII cast members, the most recent additions' (Crystal Clarke and Pip Anderson) roles are being kept under wraps. But, in Anderson's case at least, a very particular skill set he possesses offers a clue to why he was cast, and possibly what type of character he'll be playing. One of the vids below is actually a Spider-Man themed advert for Sony's new Experia mobile phone.

Like Ray Park in The Phantom Menace before him, it's very unlikely that Anderson's (spelled AndersEn in those vids) incredible skills won't be put to use in the new film. So which type of characters do we know in the galaxy far far away that would make the best use of some jaw dropping acrobatics? That'd be the Jedi/Sith -- and my money's on Anderson playing another silent villain type in the Darth Maul vein. What do you guys think?

MrBlackjack - 7/6/2014, 4:30 PM
I feel like The Rapper's Delight should be playing in the background of those videos...
Markus316 - 7/6/2014, 4:31 PM
Some how I picture a young cocky Jedi.
ndwwrestler2 - 7/6/2014, 4:31 PM
Interested to know what role he's playing.
SuperCat - 7/6/2014, 4:31 PM
Wow. Imagine him doing all that with a light saber.

@MrBlackJack That seemed a bit more epic than it should have.

YafiszKhan - 7/6/2014, 4:48 PM
As long as Adam Driver is in this, it'll suck. Unless they make him an ugly alien, in which case he'll be better looking than he was before.
ComicsBornAndBred - 7/6/2014, 4:51 PM

SuperCat - 7/6/2014, 4:51 PM

YafiszKhan - 7/6/2014, 4:57 PM
I mean, Adam Driver's face is so bad I'd rather read Pasto's comments or... or even watch any of The Amazing Spider-Man movies.
NovaCorpsFan - 7/6/2014, 4:58 PM
Sith.
YafiszKhan - 7/6/2014, 5:00 PM
You know who'd make a good Dark Jedi, Anakin Skywalker that's who!
Sipprelle - 7/6/2014, 5:07 PM
I swear somebody's going to make another Avengers/Spider-Man crossover theory since this guy's in a Disney movie and he was in a Spider-Man commercial.
dio - 7/6/2014, 5:19 PM
Parkour is so a long time ago , in a galaxy far away.

@LoisGriffin "As long as Adam Driver is in this, it'll suck"
Okay first of all he is an AMAZING actor so I don't know where the hell you got your information.
And second of all, who the hell cares wtf he looks like? Is this a Star Wars movie or a spreadsheet for effing TigerBeat magazine?
I mean seriously is this a movie for preteen twilight fans, or for ACTUAL Star Wars fans??

Here are just a few movies with Adam Driver

What If (86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes)

Inside Llewyn Davis (94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes)

Lincoln (90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes)

Frances Ha (93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes)

Tracks (83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes)

Your argument is invalid.

@patriautism If he's such a Great actor, then tell me what he's been in that is actually good. As for if he's ugly, I don't care if it's Star Wars, Man of Steel II or Gilmore Girls, if he's ugly, he shouldn't go into acting. The real crime is he got chosen over Michael Fassbender, a proven amazing actor (because if Adam Driver is great, then great is the new bad). I wasn't sad that Harrison Ford got hurt, I'm sad the news wasn't "Adam Driver Unable to Continue Star Wars Filming" because he's taking a shit on all six movies with his face. Why with his face, because his face is worse looking than Pasto's shit, and that shit is bad.
YafiszKhan - 7/6/2014, 6:40 PM
Okay, so I see some movies in which Adam Driver is that are good. Now I ask, he is in Frances Ha - he made that movie amazing because he was the main character. Thank goodness his dumb face was sidelined. Really, your saying he made Lincoln good, you're out of your mind. How about this, imagine how good that movie would have been with Daniel Day Lewis. Inside Llewlyn Davis, thank God, this movie was very good, but not as good as it could have been, why? Because no matter how small his role, Adam Driver was still in it. Tracks was good for everything but Adam Driver. People would have seen it and then they saw Adam Driver and turned into Green Goblin skeletons.

YafiszKhan - 7/6/2014, 6:58 PM
Wow, now tell me more about how Adam Driver has done anything good?

mgeoff88 - 7/6/2014, 8:43 PM
He has mad skills! I mean, that is amazing stuff. I wish I could do parkour.

And this guy is definitely playing a Jedi.
NoPhucksGiven - 7/6/2014, 9:04 PM
This guy is crazy. He has to be some kind of Sith.
YafiszKhan - 7/6/2014, 10:06 PM
@MrBlackjack Fight me, I dare you. The fisticuffs never lie, neither do the verbal-translate-to-keyboard fisticuffs. Times up, it's over, you lose: I WIN!
loki668 - 7/6/2014, 10:49 PM
@YafiszKhan

Here. Eat this.

loki668 - 7/6/2014, 11:41 PM

dutchman - 7/7/2014, 2:15 AM
pff i can do that
FerFogs - 7/7/2014, 7:55 AM
The only question is: Jedi or Sith?

I'd love to see him as part of Luke's academy, along with a bunch of badass padawans.
damntree - 7/7/2014, 11:09 AM
So, didn't want to go with an actor then? Lol, classic star wars.
DocH - 7/7/2014, 12:15 PM
just found out that he is from my home town :)
Daddydeadpool - 7/7/2014, 3:44 PM

Ghostt - 7/7/2014, 11:51 PM
