Mal Chance Movie In Development

Never heard of this one. But with comic adaptations being greenlit before the comics have even been written these days, thats hardy surprising. Firstshowing have the details...

Platinum Studios has joined forces with producer Tony Krantz to develop a live-action feature based on the graphic novel Mal Chance, with Scott Murphy to adapt. Krantz is best known for 24 and Mulholland Drive

"Mal Chance tells the story of Lola, part of an ancient clan of assassins targeted for death by a powerful gangster. Her only recourse is to bring down the gangster's entire operation with the help of an honest FBI agent who is unaware of her true identity."

Krantz says.."Mal Chance a wonderfully visual world steeped with contemporary and complex characters, all playing on the edge of life and death decisions"

Mmmm. Well, it doesn't sound very original or exiting to me, but having never read it, what do I know! Any of you folks know of this?

Lol, your crazy dude @Ror. I'm not on anything man? Just trying to figure out why everything that doesn't seem to be Marvel comic book based is unoriginal?? There are other great comics out there besides just DC and Marvel?...
