Apparently Marvel Moving Forward With INHUMANS Movie

Many of us figured it'd be the studio's next step after Guardians Of The Galaxy proved such a hit, and now Collider report that Marvel will be actively looking for a director for The Inhumans, working from an existing script by Joe Robert Cole.

Comic book super-team The Inhumans have been mentioned quite a few times as a possible future Marvel Studios project, but aside from a few rumors here and there we haven't really heard anything too concrete. Now, according to Collider, Marvel are ready to move forward and focus on bringing Black Bolt, Medusa and co. to the big screen. The site reckons "Marvel plans to handle The Inhumans in the same way they handled Guardians of the Galaxy", so the existing script by Joe Robert Cole will likely be sent out to potential film-makers, who will also put their stamp on it. No specific directors are named, but Collider do go on to say that the movie will occupy one of the previously announced release dates, and will represent Marvel "actively building a multiple-film cosmic universe" to go along with the established MCU.

Gunn said he basically rewrote the entire script from scratch...In Perlman's version, Groot was barely in it and totally different character...
WayneCEO1 - 8/12/2014, 11:46 AM
Who are the inhumans?
EzioKenway1225 - 8/12/2014, 11:46 AM
COOL!!..also its true..while Guardians of The Galaxy still felt like it was in the Marvel Universe..it allowed Gunn showcase his style, his voice through the film, just like Whedon imo..Avengers is very Whedon in terms of interactions..Thor has elements of Brangh in it terms of the Asgard family drama ..Cap 1 has Johnston in it in terms of it being a stylized version of the 40s..it felt very Rocketeer which Johnston also directed and from the report.. they want someone who can come it ad while still make it fit within the MCU but also bring their own voice and style to it

Sweet Christmas!!!!

This is gonna be crazy! It also matches up with Vin Diesel hinting about being up for a role in it.
acorsi11 - 8/12/2014, 11:47 AM
Maybe Inhumans in 2018?

I sense a Realm/War of Kings crossover movie with the Guardians happening in the distant future
TheAbaryMan369 - 8/12/2014, 11:47 AM
YES YES YES! [frick] Doctor Strange, [frick] Hulk, [frick] Black Panther, [frick] anything else, I want Inhumans more than anything else.
EzioKenway1225 - 8/12/2014, 11:48 AM
batz-yeah he kept somethings.he said Quill ended up in prison and then met Rockrt, Groot, Gamora and Drax and Perlman said she had the idea of the 70s music in the film but Gunn brought in the Walkman
TheRationalNerd - 8/12/2014, 11:48 AM
Only guy I know from InHumans was Black Bolt. And I only know Black Bolt from Ultimate Alliance. lol Shoukd be cool, so this officially confirms that it's one of their mystery films coming up?
TheAbaryMan369 - 8/12/2014, 11:49 AM
Now that Marvel introduced the Kree in Guardians Of The Galaxy, I imagine them having a much larger part in this. I also really want to see more of Xandar and the Nova Corps. And Uatu is a must.
TheDudeRusty - 8/12/2014, 11:50 AM
I like that Marvel are kickstarting careers. Im not anticipating this however.
ALegendaryPanda - 8/12/2014, 11:50 AM
I'm not too familiar with Inhumans but it seems epic from what I've heard!

Does anyone know how to get rid of the 123srv.com virus?

"[frick] Black Panther"

(Pause)

No...just no! (Will Smith smack)
Pasto - 8/12/2014, 11:51 AM
And no [frick]s were given.
Superior - 8/12/2014, 11:51 AM
I wonder how they'll handle Black Bolt. Dude can't even speak. But it's Marvel, so they might make a stipulation to that.
TheAbaryMan369 - 8/12/2014, 11:51 AM
What Marvel really needs is an actor than can convincingly play Black Bolt. He'll need to be able to display all the subtleties of the character emotion through his facial expression, much like Marvel did with Groot, but a lot better because Black Bolt will have a much bigger role than Groot ever did. He'll also need a darn good scream, which is the thing I'm really looking forward to hearing.

"According to our sources, Marvel plans to handle The Inhumans in the same way they handled Guardians of the Galaxy."

I posted this article one year ago.

Vin Diesel is still attached to an unknown Marvel movie. I believe that he will be playing King Black Bolt. I'm not like 100% sure.
DeusExSponge - 8/12/2014, 11:52 AM
Ohhh, I'm hoping this is true and that Vin Diesels hint for his future Marvel role is true!
AsgardianHobo - 8/12/2014, 11:52 AM
sKeemAn - 8/12/2014, 11:53 AM
This is amazing news. I would still like a confirmation on a BP movie.
TheAbaryMan369 - 8/12/2014, 11:53 AM
Whoever plays Medusa must have great chemistry with the actor who plays Black Bolt, as she will probably be the one voicing everything for him, similar to how Rocket could understand everything Groot says.
DaVinci31 - 8/12/2014, 11:54 AM
"YES YES YES! [frick] Doctor Strange . . . [frick] Black Panther, [frick] anything else, I want Inhumans more than anything else."

PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - 8/12/2014, 11:54 AM
Black Bolt?

sKeemAn - 8/12/2014, 11:54 AM
Vin Diesel for Black Bolt??
Pasto - 8/12/2014, 11:55 AM
Not that I hate the Inhumans or find them un-interesting, but I mean, eh.

But if the film is anything like Guardians of The Galaxy, I'd watch it repeatedly.
Pasto - 8/12/2014, 11:55 AM
@DaVinci
Nice use of the gif.
AsgardianHobo - 8/12/2014, 11:56 AM
Pasto - 8/12/2014, 11:56 AM
Vin is Black Bolt. Heck, he looks like the guy to. Marvel isn't stupid. They wouldn't waste a guy like Vin on a role that requires him to say 3 words.
ekrolo2 - 8/12/2014, 11:57 AM
Black Panther should be in Phase 4, get the big guns in for the fight against Thanos and then introduce some of the lesser powered new guys after that.
EzioKenway1225 - 8/12/2014, 11:57 AM
i honestly really like the formula that Marvel seems to be doing for release schedules..have one estabilished franchise ( ala Cap 2) and then one new potential franchise (ala Guardians).. the estabilished franchise pays for the newer ones and for us, it gives us something familiar and also something new
PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - 8/12/2014, 11:57 AM
This is the text everybody has to read to familiarize themselves with the Inhumans.

So good.

Gusto - 8/12/2014, 11:57 AM
I'll believe it when I see it.
Pasto - 8/12/2014, 11:58 AM
Dare I say a Guardians of The Galaxy/Inhumans team-up film in the near future?
Nomis - 8/12/2014, 11:58 AM
Marvel plans to handle The Inhumans in the same way they handled Guardians of the Galaxy. For those who don’t know, the original draft of Guardians was written by Nicole Perlman, who was part of Marvel’s writing program.

DAMMITT!

I was HAPPY to read this news til I read this part!!!!

Now it's going be a movie filled with a bunch of stupid one-liners, dance -offs and baby trees to hide the WEAK SCRIPT instead of a movie with some substance and depth!

Marvel1997 - 8/12/2014, 11:59 AM
Lol Marvel is trying to introduce as many people in the Universe as Possible for the grand finale "Thanos vs Everybody" Once he has the infinity Gauntlet ;P
BatManiac - 8/12/2014, 11:59 AM
[frick] YEAH!
DeusExSponge - 8/12/2014, 11:59 AM
Ezio - That makes me wonder which established franchise will be released in the same year as the Inhuman movie.
