Sean Bean Joins The Wachowskis' JUPITER ASCENDING

Deadline report that the LOTR/Game Of Thrones actor will join the already impressive cast of the Wachowskis' upcoming sci-fi flick as a "Han Solo type" character. Shall we take bets on whether he'll survive till the end of the movie?

According to Deadline, walking movie massacre Sean Bean has signed on to play a character called "Stinger" in the movie that marks Matrix duo Andy and Lana Wachowski's return to sci-fi, Jupiter Rising. The character is described as a Han Solo type so we'll assume he'll be a roguish good-guy. He will join Channing Tatum, Eddie Redmayne and Mila Kunis in the movie which is set in a time where humans are at the bottom of the evolutionary ladder, and follows a woman who has been targeted for assassination by the queen of the universe.

I think the bigger issue here is that the Wachowskis are making another movie. For the love of all humanity, please someone take the cameras away from them STAT. NO MORE WACHOWSKI MOVIES.....PLEASE!

Maybe the Wachowski siblings can actually make a good movie again. It's been 14 years.

*Haven't seen Cloud Atlas yet so can't judge that one.

He survived Silent Hill 1. I don't know if he's technically alive or not at the end of Silent Hill: Revelation. I'm sure he wanted to be dead.
