Is Superman's misguided little cousin to meet her maker this May? The following cover and solicit certainly suggests as much. It appears the mantle of "Supergirl" will now be held by Powergirl - although there is that "or so it seems". Anyway, we won't find out for sure for a while, until then..

Lol, Kara's not going to die. Or if she does, her current arc will go down as the most laughably pointless and abbreviated storyline in DC history.

Also, even if Supergirl's popularity alone can't keep her from the chopping block, the necessity for that well-known and much-beloved DC character, "the Boob Window", to return to the pages as soon as possible will force her resurrection purely so that Powergirl can paint on her original costume again...
