The only info accompanying the teaser is: "Get Mad! June 2013.". But it shouldn't be that hard to decipher this one. It seems fan-favorite artist Joe Madureira is returning to draw Wolverine in June. This marks the first output from Madureira since three issues of Avenging Spider-Man in late 2011.

MutantEquality - 3/4/2013, 12:53 PM
I miss that Wolverine. I miss loving and rooting for Wolverine.
MrMartinMarvel - 3/4/2013, 12:54 PM
Wait, did they ruin Wolverine or something as of late? I don't keep up with the comics as much as I should.
RPD - 3/4/2013, 1:04 PM
I miss Claremont Wolverine...
MrMartinMarvel - 3/4/2013, 1:11 PM
@Nomis Thanks. I knew Wolvie was being overexposed, but I didn't know the damage was that bad. I really hope someone steps in and fixes Marvel soon.
BenderDickCumPatch - 3/4/2013, 1:18 PM
Joe Mad+ Mad Wolvie= BADASS
BrownandYellowWolvie - 3/4/2013, 1:38 PM
Joe MAD has been the best artist ever since his "new" style debuted back in the days of his X-men run. His old style was good too, but it's his new style that sent him to the top of the charts. So much better than the crap seen in most other comics these days.
NorrinRaddical - 3/4/2013, 1:39 PM
hi-fives Nomis! the glory days of the ol' canucklehead. Keith (and Texeira) knew what was up! when clothes were made of old phone chords...
DanteSparda - 3/4/2013, 1:39 PM
I hope this means the cancelation of Savage Wolverine and the start of a new Wolverine solo series, with Madureria drawing and, of course, a new writer.
NorrinRaddical - 3/4/2013, 1:40 PM
Madureira's great for the kiddy books, Spiderman, etc...
Masterkalel - 3/4/2013, 1:41 PM
Wolverine should never be this bulky, He needs to be a lean, mean, super agile killing machine!
WruceBayne - 3/4/2013, 1:43 PM
Joe Mad is probably the MOST sought after artist in the comicbook industry. (I have NO facts to prove this) He's just unreliable when it comes to deadlines. His art is still the best though.
RandyBobandy - 3/4/2013, 1:47 PM
WruceBayne - I'd say he and Travis Charest are the most sought after, however both suffer from the harsh deadlines put on them.
jimoakley666 - 3/4/2013, 1:50 PM
Never really gelled with Madureira. He first popped up when you had Adam Kubert and Mark Silvestri on Wolverine and I think it was Andy Kubert on X-Men. So it was a bit odd at first. This was back in the day when it was all still pretty straight cut artwork though.

Always willing to give new stuff a look though.
Gusto - 3/4/2013, 1:57 PM

There was a run several years ago...
Wolverine got shot up in a diner, then spent
a few days in Peter Parker's basement healing...
Any of you rubes remember what line that was?
Gusto - 3/4/2013, 1:58 PM

Line = Title
Masterkalel - 3/4/2013, 2:04 PM
Leave it to the late Michael turner to make the baddest Wolverine cover I have ever seen

I dare you guys to top the awesomeness of this cover.........
sephiroth211 - 3/4/2013, 2:05 PM
Have to agree with weneedrevelation Joe's art is sick.

sephiroth211 - 3/4/2013, 2:11 PM
J. Scott Campbell ftw.

Pheezmatic - 3/4/2013, 2:21 PM
O yippee :(
Joe Mad was my fav artist like in 1998...pfft.
Guy never makes his deadlines..
His styles evolved to Anime that appeals to 14 year olds..
He never finishes his projects...
His video games suck...
Sam Kieth's Wolvie is awesome..
and i have that Michael Turner wolvie art ona t-shirt..chea (R.I.P)

marvel72 - 3/4/2013, 3:08 PM
joe's run on the uncanny x-men & age of apocalypse was fantastic,i'm definitely picking this up.
thewolfx - 3/4/2013, 3:18 PM
All this wolverine art is beast
KINGPEN266 - 3/4/2013, 3:25 PM
i love joe madd my favorite artist of all with mike turner second RIP
sephiroth211 - 3/4/2013, 3:25 PM
Bryne and Claremont are among the top, if not the top X-men writer and artist hands down @Nomis.

I miss the old days.
Superguy15 - 3/4/2013, 4:08 PM
The new series is shaping up to be pretty good...Marvel, don't reboot, just continue off of MARVEL NOW! I think that they're all awesome!
sameoldthing - 3/4/2013, 4:19 PM
Artist Michael Turner was a good guy but a mediocre talent, waaaay overrated.
Joe Mad & John Byrne draw the best Wolverine shown on this page.
Bkams - 3/4/2013, 4:25 PM
Avenging Spider Man you say? And webs in the background? Just a coincidence? Badass! :)
Shadowelfz - 3/4/2013, 4:33 PM
God I love Joe Mad. Almost enough to make me want to buy a marvel comic again. Maybe Storm will put the bad boy back in him and make him the wolvie we all love instead of the stupid tame lackey he is in comics now.
dabo - 3/4/2013, 4:57 PM
Love Joe Mad but have been burned before by the promise that he was going to be the artist on a run of something only for him to do a couple of issues before disappearing again!
CorndogBurglar - 3/4/2013, 6:39 PM
@ Nomis

Hell yeah man, Wolverine: Blood Hungry was awesome!

I know he was a walking cliche of a villain, but i loved me some Cyber. The only person on earth that Wolverine was admittedly afraid of! Now thats a badass.

Remember when wolvie lost his adamantium, and about 2 or 3 issues later Cyber stomped on his bone claws and snapped off? Yeah, Cyber was a total hardass. I miss that guy.
marvel72 - 3/4/2013, 7:41 PM
@ Nomis

wolverine in the sewer by john byrne is the most iconic image of wolverine i have ever seen.

wolverine use to be my favorite character in the 80s & 90s because of that image.
MutagenMan - 3/4/2013, 8:50 PM
I like Joe Mad just fine. I LOVE Sam Keith though.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 3/4/2013, 10:12 PM
Lee,bryne, then mads drew best wolverines.
DravinClaw - 3/5/2013, 12:40 AM
I like kubert's take on him back in the day
AINTNOTHINTOFOCWIT - 3/5/2013, 6:09 AM
i'll get the trade i dont trust joe
NorrinRaddical - 3/5/2013, 7:15 AM
arrrrgh DravinClaw GTFO of here with Kubert - He's the WORST!

elGuason thanks for bringing up BWS - one of the best most defining stories

Love all the Byrne and Keith love. what, no Mark Texeira?

Mad and Turner are dated signs of the times. Mad's good with Spiderman and FF and young stuff, but Turner, rest in piece, was just an over-glorified soft core pin up guy who couldn't quite hold his candle to Silvestri
sephiroth211 - 3/5/2013, 10:27 AM
