James Mangold Shares Some Actor Portraits From THE WOLVERINE

The director of the upcoming X-Men spin-off has posted three nice black and white snaps of his principal cast members to his Twitter page. They feature Hugh Jackman (Logan) Rila [frick]ushima (Yukio) and Tao Okamoto (Mariko). Check out the BTS pics after the jump..

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.


The Wolverine hits theaters July 26th, 2013.

The X-men franchise have been successful financially, but they could be on MCU's level if they market better. We don't get our first trailer until the 29th of March(may be 28th, I hear GI Joe got moved up). We should have had a least one teaser by now.

I mean outside of the hardcore cbm community, how many people even know this film is going to exist? Not many.

With this said, I'm still looking forward to the film. Hopes it as good as I've dreamed.

the movie comes out in 4 months and yet there hasn't even been a teaser let alone a trailer for this movie, it's like fox want this to bomb or underperform, a trailer should have been out since january to generate interest. Dont know what they're playing at. Stop giving us set pics and start giving us some [frick]ing footage of the movie
