As long as Banshee is still around in some capacity I'm ok. For all I care they could give us an adult Banshee

Don't really care. DOFP already has a large amount of characters on top of what could be a very complex plot.

Bring back who they need, and only who they need.

good i found his character lame & i wanted to punch him in the face
Manhunter

Just explain his absence. Don't Pull a Nightcrawler. I doubt Havoc will return either. You have to trim the cast somewhere and the newest/Most unpopular will be the first to go.

@InfiniteMonkey LOL that cracked me up, I had forgotten for a moment that this isn't the x-men franchise but the Wolverine and friends franchise, thanks for refreshing my memory on that

There goes continuity being thrown out the window again, if they keep getting rid of previous characters I don't see how the film will do well. Plus that and the fact they are adding in these new mutant characters to the story which doesn't make any sense at all. To me this movie is close to it's final jump of the shark

Couldn't care less, Nightcrawler or I wont bother watching this movie.
thewonderer
thewonderer - 3/29/2013, 11:35 AM
Are people still whining about Wolverine standing out more than the others?

Show me the team up film that doesn't put emphasis on one character over the others, and I'm gonna laugh hard if someone says Avengers

@TimL

cool story bro, really needed to read that you're not going to watch this movie. Ruined my whole life.

I'm pretty much over the X-Men franchise. I'll see both the new X-Men and Wolverine movie but not until it hits the RedBox for $1. They really dropped the ball with this franchise.

Too many characters in this movie already

So, the First Class X-Men will consist of only Xavier and Beast? Makes sense.

Really dissapointed with this. Many fans were already feeling he woulnt come back since some months ago, same as Havok, but the confirmation feels sad, at least to me

Who the [frick] is this kid?? I'm ready for the reboot. This shit has gone downhill fast

Stumblin - 3/29/2013, 11:44 AM
@MrMartinMarvel - HA! This is true. Sometimes I wish they'd start over (again?) but honestly I just want something different. Like "Heroes for Hire" or a decent Dare Devil movie...
Manhunter
Manhunter - 3/29/2013, 11:51 AM
Fox thinks it has something Avengers like on it's hands. All of these actors coming from different movies all in one big epic. They aren't going to reboot this franchise until they get a huge bomb.

Guess he wasnt gay enough for Singer's tastes.
thewonderer
thewonderer - 3/29/2013, 11:58 AM
I'm glad they're actually ADAPTING specific arc stories, unlike Marvel who continues to ignore the great stories they have for shit like Iron Man 2.
ralfinader
ralfinader - 3/29/2013, 11:59 AM
See, it is easier for them to just announce the few mutants that won't be in this cluster[frick].

DOFP can suck it. This movie is a train wreck waiting to happen. Give the rights to someone else. Ill be happy with anybody but Fox.. or Marvel
TheSuperguy
TheSuperguy - 3/29/2013, 12:04 PM
He was alright as Banshee but he isn't a big player in the X-film series. DOFP should focus on the bigger characters.

And I didnt realize that the Avengers was so good that people are still butthurt over its success. Im talkin to you Wonderbread

DonaldBlake68 - 3/29/2013, 12:20 PM
I thought Banshee did a decent job. I enjoyed the movie as a whole except Angel. That bitch sucked ass. Im excited for DOFP, whether it gets good or bad ratings, anytime characters I read in comics as a child are on the big screen i'll gladly pay the $10.
marvel72
marvel72 - 3/29/2013, 12:35 PM
no loss, there was only two performances in x-men first class worth anything yup charles(mccavoy) & erik(fassbender).

@ thewonderer

watchmen didn't focus on just one character.

marvel have adapted elements & story arcs from the comics.

-iron man (origin pretty much spot with a few tweaks here & there from the comics took on iron monger in iron man 200)

-captain america the first avenger (origin pretty much spot on with a few tweaks here & there from the comics, red skull & cosmic cube storylines have appeared in many captain america comics)

-the incredible hulk (banner on the run from general ross has fight with abomination,i've read them sort of storylines before in the comics)

-iron man 2 (introduced war machine, yup he was introduced in iron man comic)

-thor (fights with frost giants, loki learning of his frost giant heritage, the destroyer, odin sleeps, loki fued with thor are all elements which have happened in the comics)

-the avengers (most of the founding members, loki vs avengers from the avengers 1,hulk vs thor, iron man vs thor have all happened in the pages of the avengers, thor, iron man,the incredible hulk & so on)

-iron man 3 based on the extremis storyline

-thor the dark world using elements based on the walter simonson run

-captain america the winter soldier based on the winter soldier storyline

comic designs of characters are pretty much spot on with their comic counterparts.

Don't really care, they already have many good X-men.
BlackHulk
BlackHulk - 3/29/2013, 12:37 PM
Singer doesnt allow mutants who fly in his Xmen movies. Just look how he royally screwed Storm and Magneto in Xmen 1 and 2.
