This casting is so strange because Goldberg's fallen off the map a bit. The odd part is, had this been a cameo in one of the first 3 TMNT movies of the 1990s, Goldbergs in her prime, this would totally make sense.

I'm clutching at straws of hope, here. But changing Stockman's gender wouldn't be too bad, really. I mean, he had a mad unrequited obsession with April, in the comics, but they could just change Stockman's sexuality with his gender. I mean, isn't the goddess Goldberg a bit of a muff-diver, anyway?
Besides, they changed his race in the cartoon.
It would give me a little bit of hope, if she was Dr. Stockman.
